The Loved Up Thread [Fluff]
by diamondblue1974 init might have escaped your notice but sirona and i are totally in love and seem to have a mutual appreciation society thing going on; however this has not taken place without causing some online problems as some of you might be aware.. both dawn (sirona) and i are conscious that we have hijacked a number of threads given our perpetual state of being loved up.
given the untold frustration we might have caused to some posters we have decided to launch our very own jwd loved up thread.. this hopefully should allow threads to go on being productive without the frustration of people (us) whispering online sweet nothings and flirting and we therefore invite you all to use this thread if you are loved up, have similar mutual appreciation societies or simply wish to flirt with other online posters.
you can even use this thread to dedicate a post to someone who isnt online and who just lightens your life and makes you smile.. please join us and reassure us that we are not the only loved up people on jwd.. .

Have you ever had an encounter with a UFO?
by free2beme inwhen i was about 16 years old, a group of us friends would go hiking a lot on the weekend.
we would rough it to some degree, just a sleeping back and sleeping under the stars.
one night, while hiking into a lake in northern california, we all were sleeping in a clearing just out of legal distance from a small mountain lake we liked to fish in.

My parents weren't happy together and a lot of the time the atmosphere at home would be absolutely dreadful. I couldn't bear it and I dreaded going home from school at times. It was very depressing and very draining. They stayed together until we had grown up but I really wish they hadn't. I feel really bad for my mum aswell for spending 30 years being so unhappy, I feel responsible for it somehow being as they felt the need to stay together for us kids.

My witness friend told me how her daughter had got d'f for adultery and is now married with children to the person she had an affair with (non witness).
My reaction was supposed to be one of shock and disaproval but I secretly felt glad for her as it makes me feel so sad to see these young people trapped in bad marriages and expected to remain that way for the rest of their lives.
I imagined all the people who got married so young and made bad decisions. I felt bad for them and felt suffocated at the idea of being married to someone you don't get on with or have no respect for for the rest of your life.
I know adultery is a horrible thing. If things arn't working out then it would be better to part first but maybe some don't have that choice. Its hard for outsiders to see the formation of peoples emotions and actions so its easier to get angry. I feel that Butters reaction to this mans adultery was the right one in this case.
