  What is Love?

  I love burning watchtower and awakes. I love pissing on the side of kingdom halls in cool spring days. I love offering cigarettes to pioneers. I love giving a comment at the sunday meeting and including profanities for "emphasis". I love driving up to the kingdom hall in december insisting that the circuit overssear called me to drop off this christmas tree for the lobby. I love going out in the door to door ministry and on every third door offer the book of mormon instead. I love being a faithful servant of Joboba God. This makes me happy.

  Share your most embarassing moments

  you have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes.... here is one of my most embarassing moments.. i was in 7th grade and also the new kid in school.

  this happened during one of our first big test's, i think it was my english glass but i am not sure.. i had bad gas for some reason that day and had been holding it in instead of "dusting the crops" in the hallways (which is a great way to shed your gas without having to claim it).

  i am sitting in class trying to concentrate on the test while holding in my deadly gas with all the strength my buttcheeks could muster.

  My most embarassing moment was when me and DigitalFokus were making out and my mom walked in on us and remarked "Digital for such a big guy you are so small".

  If Witnesses had new light not to shun anymore....

  if the witnesses received orders not to shun df'd ones anymore, would you want to talk to them, or would you shun them in return, just like they shunned you, just to show them how it felt like.

  First off if shunning or df'ing didn't exist - then jehovah's witnesses as we know it would not exist. The fear put into people to not question not deviate in any way with df'ing is what holds and binds jehovahs witnesses together. What allows a few people to control the minds of over 6 million people. If it did exist jehovahs witnesses would become like the majority of other religions full of factions and spinoffs and discrepency. However if my family and friends didn't shun me yeah I would love to talk to them.

  Oscars - did your favorite win?

  i agreed with all of the winners at last night's oscar's except for the best actor award.. i would have given it to joquin phoenix.

  i thought his performance as johnny cash was great.. i also thought that jon stewart did a great job.

  i particularily liked the opening skits.

  Movie: The Truman Show = Jehovahs Witnesses? Anyone seen this movie?

  by now, i realize there are a couple of good movies that help to understand the situation a jw finds himself in, once he finds out the truth about "the truth".

  like: the village, the island, stepford wifes.

  i find that these movies help me to understand the situation of being trapped in a cult and the mixed emotions about finding out and the courage and strenght needed to leave.

  1996 - Lars von Trier - "Breaking the Waves" - Amazing movie - any ex-jw who got df'd will feel this close to their heart. "Divan" - movie about a hacidic woman who breaks away. And maybe the best i've seen - "The Devils Playground" - Documentary on what Omish kids do once they turn 16 - Beautiful.
