  Bethel Police pulled me over for a violation

  wearing faded jeans only as a bethelite is a cause for concern for the governing body.

  i had jeans that were not totally faded as the "world" would consider them.

  so one freaken' weekend as i passed by a wt building, a tightwod bethel elder (now just an elder) asked me how i was doing (bla bla bla).

  i had a phone call today from an old friend and, to be honest, it was one i had been dreading.

  the lady in question used to be my pioneer partner, we got baptised on the same day, march 26th 1983, and started pioneering at the same time, and have been friends for well over 20 years.. a few years ago yvonne and her husband steve left derby and moved to south wales, but we have kept in touch, and i have visited them on several occasions, but haven't told them that i am no longer a jw, so when i got the call today i thought she was ringing me about our baptism anniversary, which would have been this sunday.

  she had tried ringing my old number, which i am no longer on, and decided to try my mobile.

  I read in Newsweek, I think, that these dipsh*ts sit around in internet cafes in the evening and cook up these letters that they email all over the place in America. Amazingly, enough dummies bite for it that they actually make a living from it. And laugh their lousy spelling butts off!

  he is claiming to represent a bank in togo and needs my personal information to release twelve million dollars to me.

  this is a version of the nigerian money order scam.

  He is claiming to represent a bank in Togo and needs my personal information to release twelve million dollars to me. This is a version of the Nigerian money order scam. only using the internet, I guess. It's the same line... somebody died, can't find any next of kin, so they want to give me the money, bla-bla.

  Who should I report this to? I don't appreciate our site being used by rip-off artists, and I don't think the moderators will, either. Be on the lookout, friends!

  I don't know how to post the message for all to read, but will be happy to copy it or answer any questions to get rid of this phisher.

  The Watchtower Sells More of Its Buildings

  the society has put up for sale the buildings at 89 hicks and 67 livingston (aka sliver building).

  the market rate value has been estimated at $1.32-1.37 million for hicks and $3.45-3.65 for 67 livingston.

  it has also been noted that the society owns 20 residential buildings.
