What was the nastiest house you got invited into?

There was a family who came into the troof, so did the wife's sister and her husband. The third sister, her husband and their kids lived in a tiny bungalow on the seedy side of town, by the prison. The husband was a nice enough man, but was a heroin addict. When we brought Sister K. home after service, we had to tippy toe in because Mr. K. was in a stupor in the back bedroom, The house was run down and always so messy. We never knew if he'd be up, or sleeping, or how nasty the house would be.

In case my relatives question me (a fader) or my non-Dub husband, what could I tell them I accepted? I know it's wimpy of me, but I don't want to be estranged from my relatives! We will duck and dodge any hard questions, but just in case...any help is appreciated. By the way, the surgery is a hysterectomy, with a low blood count to begin with. My doctor would rather transfuse, than wait another risky month of blood loss.

They had me keep my legs up on the couch and my feet off the floor. Another study lived in a low-income shack on a Lake. It was dirty and mildewy. They had space heaters and blankets up as curtains. The bathroom was scary and the whole place was smelly, damp and had some kind of bugs running across the floor. Anybody else get invited inside a scary place, and had to be polite?

How to Stump Your Dub Relative
by MissBehave inright after the 9/11 tragedies i stumped my father because i asked the very simple question "dad, does jehovah love osama bin laden?".
now according to the bible god loves all of us, right?
there was a very long pause, but he answered yes.

Girlfriend, you're going to stress them out, because you're a thinker! Questions aren't showing the trust in Jehoopla attitude a Christian sister should display! They will probably tell you that even Saul became the Apostle Paul, so very wicked ones can change, that only Jehoopla can read the heart and he will be the judge, bla-bla. Run along, little girl, leave all that in Jehoopla's hands and he will take care of it.

Witness and Food Stamp Scam
by MissBehave inhi everyone, been reading here for a long time and have to say how much i enjoy all of your stories, insight and opinions.
this is my first time posting but i remembered something today that i thought was worth sharing.
when i was a teenager and going to the hall (i successfully faded about seventeen years ago), there was a family who would come to the hall in all their sunday finery (better clothes than we can afford), drove up in their nice luxury vehicle etc.

Welcome, MisBehave!
We had several families living in the projects who went to the Hall. They used to give away their extra welfare cheese and beans and rice to the "friends" and to my parents, who studied with them. Seemed dishonest not to give back what they didn't need. I'm lucky, like you. I was born in, have faded, but never been shunned by my folks. I used to pray I'd be spared for living the best life I could. Now, I do that because it's the right thing to do, not because I believe God's coming to kill everybody who doesn't go to the Hall.

Belching in public, gross! Men who "arrange" themselves in front of me and I'm not supposed to notice, teehee! Our redneck neighbors who hang out in their backyard till the wee hours drunk and yelling when we have to get up early for work.
OK, and I'm going postal now!
DO not yell at the window clerks if your parcel is falling apart and isn't acceptable for mailing.
Don't scream at the Supervisor because YOU did not turn in a change of address and now you're not getting your mail!
Don't threaten to sue the Postal Service if your check isn't in on the 1st... when it comes in, we deliver it!
Please don't beg for your ex's new address so you can harass them; we can only release personal info to a process server or to the courts with proper documentation!
Please don't yell at the mail carrier for skipping your box if your "harmless puppy" is snapping at their legs.
Please don't refuse to answer the bell to sign for a certified, then open the door for the pizza delivery guy.
Please don't call to yell about getting your mail late...if your carrier calls in sick, we have to cover the route with overtime volunteers and it ain't pretty!

Princess Diana's murder was arranged
by pratt1 in.
in today's new york daily news mohamed al fayed, the father of dodi, who died in that paris tunnel along with princes di, is quoted as saying the the "nazi" prince philip, prince charles' father ordered a british secret agent to kill the couple.. do you believe there is any truth to this, or is this a greiving father grasping at straws to reconcile his son's death?
-

I'm curious, now that Diana's sons William and Harry, are adults, why haven't they been more active in questioning what really happened to their Mom? If there's any hint of murder, seems like they'd be calling for an investigation? I know I'd want to know exactly what went down, if it was MY Mom!

for the DF'd: did you confess or were you ratted out?
by kid-A inlooking back at the 10 or so cases of disfellowshipping i recall, i think only 1 was due to the orwellian borg spy system.
he was ratted out.. all the other cases were actually "confessions" by people that otherwise would have gotten away with it.
i am wondering is these percentages.
