let me just tell you, the first day has already gotten to me.

you know what they said in one part.

So today they proceeded to talk about apostate websites and how we try to pretend we are JW's and how we mislead people and that's how "we catch people in our trap." What a load of SH*T!
And then they proceeded to say how young ones need to realize that the end is near and how we don't need to think about education because that isn't going to matter to Jehovah. They said how we should try and please Jehovah in other ways... want to know what ways? About going Door to Door!
So my mom made sure after the convention to tell me how I need to move home and fulfill my obligation to Jehovah and how I need to stay off of the internet! I HATE THE CONVENTION! I HATE THIS ORGANIZATION. Why is it that my parents don't understand that I want to better myself.
Oh, and they said how the end is really near. That's why its "Deliverance At Hand." Shoot me now.

during his visit that the bethelites who got shite canned are receiving $450 per month as an allowance.

if you still attend meetings, why do you go?

i'm sure this has probably been covered, but going to the convention made me ask myself that today.

i still attend because of my parents mostly, and a little bit because i was confused at the time.

I still attend because of my parents mostly, and a little bit because I was confused at the time. When I DA'ed myself, my mom went on medication and got sick and I just dont want to put her through that again. They were the only reasons I got reinstated too.
But, why do you go now? Is it for family, significant others or just because?

JW and Home Schooling WHY, WHY, WHY????????

i just heard that my nephew will not be attending high school, instead will be doing home schooling, why do jws pressure their kids into home schooling?

i really do love my nephew he is a bright kid, i think he would do really great in high school, and hopefully attend college, but i was informed yesterday that he will not be going to high school because its not safe, and besides he made the decision not to go.

i am sorry but he should go, i know what they got planned for him, home school and full time service, this is the time of his life where he needs to concentrate on his education, he will end up just like his mother, who also never attended high school, seems that when your totally lost into the society, covering all aspects of your life, that leaves you socially inept, depressed, and have a distorted view of the world.

I'm not sure why. My parents took me out of school because they thought I was too popular and they hated that I had boys calling me all the time. So high school, I started homeschooling, although when I started homeschooling, I started sneaking online and meeting people online... that's how I met my ex-fiance and when my parents said that I couldn't date him and when they took my phone away and my car keys away and made me regular auxiliary pioneer, I DA'd myself, moved out, and moved in with him. I graduated high school two years early and started college a year early (I took a year off).

But to this day, I still resent them for making me homeschool. I think they know now if they would've left me in school, I probably would still be really eager to be a witness, but being with my ex before I reinstated myself made me realize this wasn't the thing for me, but I wanted to speak with my parents so I got reinstated.

I will be at this convention this weekend because of my parents... I'll let ya know how "fun" it will be. I'll even take notes and put them up when I get done, if I don't shoot myself first.
