Lol, I don't think there's a particular time for me. I sneak on her when I'm at work during the day, although I try not to post while I'm here because we are connected to a server and its really slow, but I am still here looking at everything. I tend to post at night.

Free at Last, or am I
by Princess Daisy Boo ini have just spent the last 3 or 4 hours reading everyone's posts and i am so thrilled and relieved that sites like this exist which allow us ex jw's to express ourselves.
i feel compelled to share my story, even though it is probably quite unremarkable.
i have this feeling that finally being able to express my thoughts albeit on the web, will finally allow me some freedom!.

Would you have been born if your parents were NOT J-dubs?
by Highlander ini think it's very safe to say that i would not have been born if one or both of my parents were never jw's.
mom and dad met because they were witnesses.
if not for this cult, they wouldn't have met and i(their armagedden baby) would never have existed.

Lol, my parents met at a bar before they came into the religion. They used to be a lot of fun back in the day, they told me I was conceived while the show, "Godd times" was on... lol... talk about a good time, huh?

My Story "this is long, I'm sorry"
by ex-nj-jw ini'm not sure i ever really posted my story.
i think i've given bit's and pieces on others threads but not the whole thing on my own thread.
the issue that another member is having with childcare and yet another poster asking me why i'm still here after being out for 24 years has prompted me to type this up.. so here goes:.

Why don't Witnesses indentify themselves at the door when in service?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy 17 year old daughter told me 2 men were at the door saturday looking for adults that lived in the house.my wife and i were out of town for 2 days.they had suits on and carrying book bags.
they asked if she was over 18. she replied that she wasn't.
they left without indentifiying themselves.

People in my parents congo did the same thing. When they would go door to door they wouldn't identify themselves and if someone who didn't look like an adult answered they asked if their parents or the adult of the house was home.

With a heavy heart I regret to inform you that..
by Wordly Andre ini regret to inform, all of you that i will no longer be a member of this board, ive thought about it a long time and to hard decision that after many hours of praying i will be returning to the society.
i know its the only way i can confront the problem that i am currently faced with, i am sure all of you at one time thought about it too, i am however weak, i know that going back will only delay matters and keep this horrible secret of mine, but its the only way i know how i can deal with it.
thank you for all your support and for me to fully get back to jehovahs organization i can not be a member of this board thank you worldly andre

Were you sure to be saved, when you were an active JW?
by JH inif armageddon would have happened while you were an active jw, do you think you would have been saved?.
i'm sure i would have been saved the first 4 years i was in and i was active.. .
-

No, I would've never been saved. I was always leading a double life, kissing boys, sneaking out or just random stuff I knew "Jehovah" wouldn't like.

I knwo what you're going through with the whole job thing, I just got a job after being unemployed for 2 months. I had to make arrangements with my apt complex to pay them late and in payment plans.
