compound,i hear ya!..im grateful for all of you folks too.btw,i took a friend to a local cancer treatment center last week,and walked around while she was having her treatment.i have felt blessed since that day.sure,ill still piss and moan wheni have a bad hair day,but i saw some folks that day,that ill never forget.the wee punk chick w/the last bit of her hair done in a blue mohawk..now,THATS spirit..there are some amazingly wonderful things and people to be inspried by,if we just look for them...

i go into the blood mobil today as i usually do every 8 weeks.

they ask me a gezillion questions like have i had sex with a prostitute and etc.

i answer no as usual.

i did it once,in preperation for a surgery that i was going to have.it was one of the most unpleasant things that ive ever volunteeringly done,and ill never do it again.kudos to the folks that do,but not this cowboy..it was very very painful,and i had to lie still for what seemed a lifetime..yuck..im glad that it dosent affect every one that way,in fact some dont seem to be bothered by it at all.they deserve a big star!..but me?naw...

the kingdon hall here was sold too a woman and her girlfriend and they have turned it into a newage chiropractor/holistic healing center.its pretty cool.and so much prettier!!and better for the universe..gotta flush out those old demons...

i've only posted since feb 07..but i have lurked for several years prior and there was usually something interesting on the board.

as i was reading the active topics list this morning, only a couple things jumped out at me as interesting...its been this way since the dgate and tgate incidents.... i was discussing this with a long time poster via im yesterday....does it seem to anyone else that so many of the topics are ...i dont know....odd...or different than they used to be...and i dont mean that in a good way.. i miss the newbies coming on and telling us their stories.... i miss the long time posters updating us on their lives post-borg... i guess with the recent uproar, the lurkers are hesitant to become newbies (cant say as i blame them now...we probably scared them off , and maybe the vets are just as hesitant...after all, someone went 2 years with their fraud/hoax...who will believe anyone else now?

i hope this is just a temporary cycle on this board..i have read many many posts from the archives...i hope one day soon we can get back to a happy medium here.. by the way, i like the fluff threads, but these seem to be more and more sex related (maybe that word will wake someone)... yet they get all the attention....and then someone goes too far and it gets locked down by a mod and the poster restricted......(i am not a prude...just sometimes enough is enough).

changeling!!!!we are kindred spirits!!! i love the descrption of yourself.i felt the clique thing too at first,but thats inevitable.some on here know eachother,many of us dont..i am about o go to my first apostafest in nh,and am soo excited!!!!found that i have fellow posters w/in spitting distance of where i live,and it just gets better and better..seems like most on here are amenable to anyone reaching out in friendship..ive always found that just saying hi and meaning it is a good opener..
