  JW sister told my newly widowed mom that it would "look bad"if

  if i took her to the memorial this year.im df'd for years,but out of love and respect for my parents i always gave them this one night.my mum dosent drive.i was going to drive her and sit by her.i promised my dad that i would always do this for him.he was pretty cool,even tho he was an elder.my "devout" sister {who has never lifted a finger to help my parents}told her yesterday that it "wouldnt look good" for me to show up w/my mum,altho everyone knows that i have done everything for my parents,both before my dad died in december and since.

  is my sister just jealous that i have a fabulous life,am beautiful,rich,a guitar god,have excellent cool hair, xray vision,can communicate with aliens and have supernatural abilities?

  or is she just mean?lol..btw,i am going.and im taking my mum and we are going to sit in the front row,and yes,im gonna wear velvet.....

  First of all,Thanks to you all.What a cool bunch.And no,my mum dosent drive. The aliens say that the dimpled chads were a simple mistake,JFK was the CIA and the anal probe thing is a myth made up by homophobic earthlings.They probe us thru our nostrils.Folks with lots of sinus issues,are regularly getting investigated by aliens. Dissed,Ive thought before,you and I should meet and compare our experiances.They sound eeerily similar..LOve to you all,and the aliens say,"g'dasko!' They like us btw,but think we are weird.lol

  What Do You Value in your Life Now that you Exited the Witnesses ?

  i was talking with a friend of mine on the board yesterday and the discussion gave me the idea for this thread !

  ( thanks friend !

  ) and it seems as we were talking the thought came up that many of us when exiting the mind control of jehovah's witnesses we really come to appreciate the freedom to think how we want and be able to have access to other views which helps us to have a broader scope , or broader world view than just the tunnel vision of the wt society.

  I can read people,for the most part,and actually have people in my life that I trust 100%.Never had that when I was a JW.they are always trying ti get closer to god by stepping on or ratting on oneanother.Im not saying that this dosent happen in the real world,but really,not as much.Maybecause you can really decide for yourself if a person is real or just a real poser..All in all,I delight in every second that I am free of that wretched cult.I only wish that my mum were not still in it...

  Validity of JW Baptism

  please could someone tell me what is said in a jw baptism?

  i was told that jw baptisms are invalid because they do not baptise in the "name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit.

  because of this invalid baptism a catholic cannot marry a jw with church approval, i think.

  I WAS going to go w/my mum,cause its the first year my dad is dead,but my sister today,told her that it would be inappropriate for her to show up w/me,in my car.She is just jealouse cause I got the looks AND the brains in the family and her kids prefer to hang ot with me instead of her.Beeyatch...So,Id better get busy getting a new fetching Ramones tshirt to wear...lol

  we started to 'bud' in our blouses at 9 or 10 years old only to find that anything that came in contact with those tender, blooming buds hurt so bad it brought us to tears.
