signs of the end of times - CO talk
by DaCheech inthe co yesterday had proof, that we are definetely in the last seconds of the end times.. he said: "never in the history of mankind, has all the signs of jesus' "end times" happened simultaneously".. earthquakes have happened, pestilence same, wars same, etc etc............. but now all these are being seen together and alarmingly so.

Can someone explain this?
by UnConfused ini decided to fly to visit a friend on the board.. small airport.. called and there were seats available.. got to the airport and was not allowed to buy a ticket because it was "too late" to do so.. the plane hadn't even arrived from it's previous flight so it was going to be a while.. the fellow wasn't sure why the computer wouldn't let him sell a ticket and sighted security.. but when i pointed out that didn't make sense because whether i bought a ticket now or a week ago they were going to check my baggage.. he agreed.. i left, frustrated..

Biggest Reason For My Leaving....
by Fester ini wanted to share with everyone, why i left religion all together, in favor of thinking for myself, and believing in myself.. in the bible, there are of course several accounts which i consider to be barbaric and gruesome.
i also consider the worst accounts to be inhumane.
if the bible god is consistent in one thing, it is the continuing theme of inflicting torture and torment on humanity.

Were you suprised at how little the "world" knows about JW's
by donny ini was a jehovah's witness for 10 long years and during that time i developed the opinion that most of the world knew what we believed, but chose to ignore it and go about doing their own thing.
then in the almost 18 years i have been out, i have come to understand that the outside world knows very little about jw's.
other than they don't take blood transfusions and do not celebrate holidays, most people have no idea what we believe and only think of them as another offbeat religion among many.. did anyone else think that the jw religion was more known than it actually is?.

I totally agree with Outlaw.Whe you are in the borg,they make it seem like the whole world is fixated on getting you ,and testing you,etc.When actually,all most people want is to not be woken up early on Saturday mornings.No one cares unless they are involved in the slime that surrounds the dubs.

Why should I have to sign a letter saying I want to disassociate ?
by troubled mind ini don't understand why the elders want this letter so badly ....for one i don't remember signing a contract to become a jehovah's witness ,why do i need to resign ?.
also i was baptised in 1978 before the baptism questions changed , i dedicated myself to god not an organization .
my vow was to follow the direction by holy spirit as revealed to me through the bible, not the watchtower ...... if i belonged to the luthern church and quit going after three yrs they drop your name off the member list ........but if i chose to come to easter or christmas service everyonre would still talk to me i just wouldn't be a member any more .. .
