Learning Guitar - What is a good beginner guitar - (sell me yours?)
by confusedjw ini've been learning to play for the last 3 weeks and would like to buy myself an acoustical guitar.
i've borrowed two, one is a wonderful yamaha and the other is a fender made in china, plywood and it sounds not so good.
those of you who have gone through this - what would you recommend to me if i were your favorite poster?.

ive kept every guitar that i ever bought,including the 70 dollar fender acoustic that i got at a pawnshop in georgia..my fave is definitly my taylor tho..but ,its a huge investment for someone just learning,altho a crappy guitar can be hard to play and discouraging to a beginner..good luck w/your guitar stuff!!! keep at it,and remember,guitar players get all the best chicks....harharhar

The next big change... my prediction
by No Apologies inwith all the talk about the new watchtower format, i thought i would throw out an idea i had recently, on how the tower could solve its current cash flow problem.. .
its very evident that they do have a serious problem with declining income, and that the real cause of this was the switch to the donation arrangement.
although at the time, it seemed like a smart move that would avoid the nightmare and expense of paying taxes, its clear to see that it has had an impact on the bottom line.

when i was a witless back in the 70's,and 80's,folks did buy their own literature..i remember the green bibles were the el cheapo ones,but the rich dubs could have the nice black or brown leatherette bibles,some monogrammed..i even remember the price of a green bible was 3 bux..the leather ones were outrageous,like 7 or something..mags were a nickle each..wow..so,when did they stop selling literature to their,um,publishers?

its too bad..and seems to bring out a lot of misogynists as well..hmmm......anyway.theres nothing wrong w/having large breasts and being blond..she was a creature of the media,as are so many..personaly,i liked her...wonder what her drug of choice was..anyone know? A JW actually spoke to me yesterday
by Mulan ini stopped at the store yesterday, on the way home from having taken my jw mother to lunch.
inside the store was a jw i've known my entire life, but he doesn't live in our area.
the store was trader joe's, and they are not in every community, so he had driven quite a ways to get there.

What message would you like to say to anyone studying with the JW's?
by JH ini'd say, beware, once you'll be baptized they won't treat you the same way.
they will expect a lot from you, and you'll never be free again to say what you think about the religon or even think for yourself.
they will control your life completely.

anyone voluntarily studying w/jws must have some deep problems,so i would suggest that they take up another vice..maybe pilates? or swimming?maybe,um,vicodin??????
