i was not able to get into the hypnotic fugue..tried a few,well,several different hypnotists..nada...but i hear it does wrok for some..or so they say..

beyond the yes it worked for me or no it did not work for me, what i am looking for especifically is whether or not it opened you up for demon attacks or demonic activity.

so it's been a year now since mrs h and i went our seperate ways, and even though there are people on the boards that i've come to love very much i've started having a tic in one eye whenever i see a presentable lady in real life.

i dont know what to tell ya,but you can look at plentyoffish and itll keep you wicked amused for a while..its free too..seems to cater to the trailerpark crowd,but very very interesting to read...good luck! i met my husband on yahoo about 7 years ago,but i think it was a lark.most of them on the site now are sketchy and all look and say the same things..rarely,someone will jump out as unique or interesting...also,make sure their picture isnt 25 years old...harharhar

no brothers in my hall wore ties with that pattern, until a watchtower had a brother wearing a tie with this pattern.. a co said that sisters feet should not seen at the meetings for the sake of decency.

the meeting was weird,i was pretty young and didngt really understand what the big deal was.they made it sound like using tampons was a sexual activity...even when 'the group' would go swimming at a laker{rarely}the sisters made a big deal of not being able to go in the water..it lauded their fecundity,or their possiblity to be able to contribute to the borg as incubators..they told me not to go braless,cause being a busty young thang,it might cause the brothers to stumble..im so glad to have all of this info for my book..you know,you grow up w/it and just assume that EVERYONE has similar experiances.guess not..

condoms were never mentioned or allowed,because sex was only for reproduction.why else would you do it if you didnt want to reproduce?..i remember someone finding tampon wrappers in the womens bathroom,and they had a special meeting for 'the sisters'...

ive tried hypnosis a few times,tpo no avail..just does not work on some people i guess..i think the dubs are against it because it leaves your mind unguarded and vulnerable to,,um,,you know,.satan...

i just read the story of minimus and it is so clear that such power and privilege on offer to males in the borg would be enticing and probably addictive... but the women will never have such offers or opportunities.
they will always be required to be in subjection.

Great point!!!!I I have always been dismayed about the status of women in the borg..If anything,that alone proves that the religion is manmade crap..Imagine,thinking that women are not as capable as men in making decisions and all..someone on another thread pointed out that if women were elders,itd be a gentler,more humane religion in the disipline aspect..I believe this is true,altho at the time i believe that it was said tongue in cheek...ive been to a few meetings lately,and the women are stepford women..docile,gray and meek..not one of them stands up straight..like i said b4,either obese baby makers or small grey withered quiet husks..and truly,women are so much more than that..maybe its different in other areas,but this is what i observed first hand here in my area.i am writing a book on the subject,and trying to be objective about what I see...Its very very interesting to come back in as an adult,and see it thru an adults eyes...

by MichaelM ini'm studying with a jehovah's witness and it makes quite a bit of sense but i've been reading many topics on here and it seems that i can find every christian denomination and every religion except jehovahs witnesses.
do any jw's actually browse here?
maybe i'm just getting unlucky and picking the wrong topics where everyones discussing about how they used to be jw's.

Homosexuality - how do you see it now?

Bible fundamentals have no place in my life.I adore most homosexuals that i know.and probably like most gay men better than most 'straight' men that I know.I dont believe that the 'norm' is heterosexuality..Its just another choice.Sorry all of you out there who 'live to spawn',and reproduce..and no,im not gay..Didnt jesus hang out w/young attractive men and eschew female company?hmmmmm.
