by avishai inthis man molested at least 50 kids, many of them jw's in the early to mid 80's some in alaska in the early 90's.

Pragmatically, I treat a Jehovah's Witness like they are mentally ill. Never agitate a person who's separated from reality and who's clinging to a delusion by challenging the delusion in any way. Respect the delusion no matter how unrespectable the delusion is!

Yes.
I grew up in an abusive family. Physical, emotional, and spiritual. The abuse was severe enough that police were involved, children were removed from the home a couple of times, and my parents' marriage eventually ended with violence.
My dad served as a much-loved elder for many years. He was Presiding Overseer in the mid-70's.

Jayhawk1 - I remember that song soo well. I remember singing it in grammar school.
Just did a google search and found this:

It tells the story behind that song. I NEVER knew this!! The jingle came first. Then the song was re-written and released as a single because so many people were requesting DJs to play the Coke song.

Wow! I remember back to when I was 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. My dad would carve pumpkins with us and then my mom would toast the seeds.
I cannot tell you exactly how to carve them. But I know it usually starts with cutting the tops off in a way that you can replace it after you hollow it out. You have cut into it at an angle to the outside cut is larger openning than the inside oppening so that it doesn't fall inside. (Make sense?)
We would draw crazy faces on the outside and dad would come home and carve it out.
I bet if you googled: Carve Pumpkin you'd get lots and lots of tips.

Oh! I still remember a song from Sunday School (before my parents started studying with the witnesses) that listed the names of the Bible in order. I can only sing Genesis thru Psalms but have taught it to a few children that I studied with.
A woman I know taught her kids a song to help them remember how to spell their last name:
K-V-I-A-T-K-O-V-S-K-Y (It's to the tune of M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E) I thought it was cute.
