Question for witnesses who were married or intimate during their time in the religion
by kurtbethel ini don't want to get graphic with this and get this thread locked, so please don't go overboard with answers.. i was having a discussion with someone about the jw experience, and was wondering if, since "jehovah" is an important part of the religion, during the moments of intense passion in a relationship, would you yell out, "oh, jehovah!
oh, jehovah!".
seriously, would a witness do that?.
-
AudeSapere
Nope.
But I would be thinking that Jehovah and Angels and Demons were watching.
I may have a few exhibitionistic tendencies, but thinking they were watching was *not* a turn on.
Man! Those were crazy, mind-f*cking times.

For some reason, the openning post cannot be seen when using Internet Explorer. Neither can the comments that followed.
Good thing the title itself was interesting enough to make me want to work harder to see it~!!
Now will go back and read the article.
Thanks!

Holiday field circus: From both sides of the door
by WTWizard inhere is what it is like to those on the inside of the door:.
the children got up about an hour earlier than normal.
obviously, they are anxious to start opening up the presents under the tree (and most children are not going to want to sleep in on christmas morning).

Hated field service on any holiday, especially Christmas. When I got older, I left town and went skiing with friends instead.
We had this idiot Service Overseer who asked for groups to go to the cemetary on Memorial Day. I said "No way."
YIKES!! I never heard of this one before. I do believe this may be a good definition of 'Brazen'. No?

Yikes!! Sorry to hear about the spill. How terrifying. I had a bad bike accident when I was in my 20's and had trouble getting anyone to stop and help me. Can't imagine laying in the snow and being over 50~!!

There are special grips you can side over your shoes for better grip on snow.
You can get Ice Grips for your cane, too. Here is one site: http://www.cwimedical.com/Product/homecarecaregiver/3149
Or, google these three words: cane ice grip for reviews and choices.
Separately, Do you have a service like "Helping Hands" near you?? It might be something to look into for a little care and assistance.
Feel better soon!

Video: Jehovah's Witness Elders Lie and Call Police
by leavingwt in(via free minds).
jehovah's witness elders lie and call police.
on october 31, 2010 jehovah's witnesses elders lie when asked by charles huff, also a jehovah's witness, if they shun ex-members of the jehovah's witnesses' religion.

Sorry, but I sort of want to shun the guy, too. Waaay too confrontational. Rude and finger wagging.
He really is a turn-off. I may say 'hi' I passed him on the street, but, otherwise, I'd keep my distance. And if he was verbally accosting people who were leaving my home, I'd likely call the police as well.
