  Anybody had Results talking with Relatives about Child Molestation Coverup?

  has anybody had results talking with believing or non believing relatives or friends about the molestation coverup?

  i talked with my mom who has been a witness for 55 years and she was quite concerned about the wrongness of what's going on and wanted me to send her the ap news story on it, which i did.

  Long Beach Convention weekend is over!

  i attended with her on friday morning.

  she attended alone during the afternoon as i had some clients to meet with for my business.

  god i remember going to the long beach arena almost every year. Tell me, did most of the Orange County area attend this bore fest, or is that a different circuit.... I was looking in the pics to see anyone I knew but didnt see anyone

  Is the 2008 version of the Watchtower really about saving money?

  when i first heard of the new watchtower arrangement, i immediately thought it was another in a long line of cost-cutting moves.

  i thought they were interested in cutting the overall number of magazines they print every month.

  so if they printed 20 million copies every 15 days, they could now print seven or eight million out of one of the monthly editions and cut over 10 million of magazines a month.

  What gets me is how Christ said "Come take life's water free". The witnesses consider this their life water, and by denying everyone except baptized members and their families these copies, are they not denying this "life saving water" to the public who so desperately need it?

  A comment my father in law made yesterday to me...

  i talked with my father in law yesterday... he is very much a simple minded man, deeply fanatical about the religion.. he said to me "you do have to realize that it's the truth, you see the truth never changes like other religions".

  i wanted to vomit in my mouth, but i just remained silent, no need to draw undue attention to myself, or about my true feelings.

  as far as anyones concerned i'm just inactive.. but i was on the tip of talking about many things that change, and if they change they say the light is getting brighter.

Using that reasoning couldnt we say that the catholics church recent revelation that limbo doesnt exist means that the light is getting brighter for the catholics? Nah... that would be impossible to accept... after all they are demonic right

  They probably released her because she spread herpes to all the guards.... that was the medical condition..

  And like house arrest for her is punishment.. Oh booohooo I get to spend a month in my big mansion, get drunk, and throw parties!

  they just stopped by my place, and i am hiding... i havent been to meetings in years... co must be in town, and the in-laws musta tipped em off where i am living.

  Caught Wife Cheating

  so i posted a while back about my marriage problems.... whole new gambit thrown into the mix.

  i've had suspicions all along that something like this might be happening... but only just not confirmed that she's been cheating on me... with another jw that she works with!

  she could have been more discreet about it rather than leave all the text messages on her phone.

  Wow thank you for all the support. I had a long talk with my mother in law this morning. She told me she had already caught my wife talking alot with him and counseled her on it about how she is married and should not be doing so.. Just none of this ever got to my ear. Her mother is very upset by all that I have told her (at least the fam isnt angry at me). I want to leave, but at the same time I have no support group, this woman has forced me to burn so many bridges in my life. I really have no where to go really. So that is the only thing I have to ponder on really now, is what do I do from there. It's not as easy as saying "pick yourself up son and start over." oooh noo, there is way more work involved than that. /roflcopter
