  For people who know anything about cell phones and computers.

  i was wondering... i have been avoiding someone on the phone for months.

  i usually keep my cell phone off for days and weeks at a time.

  but somehow whenever i do turn my phone on, i get a call within a couple of minutes.. now at first i thought it was just a coincidence.... but not anymore, it happens every time i turn on my phone.

  How Can I Order Court Documents?

  i am interested if at all possible in ordering the court documents showing the wtbts indeed settled out of court, and placed a gag order on the 14 victims in california.

  are those documents considered public record?

  if so can someone point me in the right direction?

  So then i guess my question is how do you know that they settled out of court if there is no paper document showing they settled? The fact that so many people know has to come from somewhere. I guess I was hoping for some sort of document that showed they settled all these cases. That would have been a breaker for some of my family. :-/ Cuz without "proof" they would just dismiss it as apostate rumors. *sigh*

  Another news story today on abuse settlements...

  a friend of mr f heard a story on kfbk sacramento radio news a little after 8 this am...3 people in woodland ca received their settlement money, and 7,000 others have come forward with accusations.

  i can't find it anywhere - does anyone know about this?

  Men who speak lies - Need scripture

  clyde and i are looking for a scripture - seems like it should be in psalms.

  it says something like, "i have not sat at the table of men who speak lies.

  " (or falsehood).

  "4 I have not sat with men of untruth;" That scripture is perfect when you think about the recent Watchtower article that stated 'every lie is an untruth, but not every untruth is a lie.' So it doesnt say sitting at the table with liars, but with men of untruth! Thus another reason to stay away from this cult that says its bad to lie, but ok to tell an 'untruth'.

  has anybody had results talking with believing or non believing relatives or friends about the molestation coverup?

  i talked with my mom who has been a witness for 55 years and she was quite concerned about the wrongness of what's going on and wanted me to send her the ap news story on it, which i did.

  Long Beach Convention weekend is over!

  god i remember going to the long beach arena almost every year. Tell me, did most of the Orange County area attend this bore fest, or is that a different circuit.... I was looking in the pics to see anyone I knew but didnt see anyone

  Is the 2008 version of the Watchtower really about saving money?

  when i first heard of the new watchtower arrangement, i immediately thought it was another in a long line of cost-cutting moves.

  i thought they were interested in cutting the overall number of magazines they print every month.

  so if they printed 20 million copies every 15 days, they could now print seven or eight million out of one of the monthly editions and cut over 10 million of magazines a month.

  What gets me is how Christ said "Come take life's water free". The witnesses consider this their life water, and by denying everyone except baptized members and their families these copies, are they not denying this "life saving water" to the public who so desperately need it?
