Ninj mate, I have a T shirt with electric soup on it. Diggers 80 shilling is what we call that through here. You will have some when you come through to Tynie. Superb stuff. The T shirt is nice as well.

In all honesty, there is nothing worse than those that say they believe the truth whilst living like the rest of us. Most JW's are hypocrites. And I mean MOST.

Anyone making plans to start their fantastic new life after the death of their husbands/parents/kids need a good clubbing over the head with a pick axe. It's just sick man. PS - clubbing someone to death with a pick axe is not sick.

Hook Lines or Phrases Jehovah's Witnesses Use to Control You
by flipper into control a person, or control a group of people , any cult , including jehovah's witnesses , have to gain your trust that they are the authority on what you need to know.
even people have been known to use these " catch phrases " to gain trust , or " hook lines " as you'd call them to gain control over groups of people or individually in their own lives.
see if you are familiar with these phrases which empower the sender of the phrase , but demands rapt allegiance from listeners to be the " gospel truth " without challenge , which can take the listeners power away.

What's The Worst Thing An Elder or Elders Did To You?
by minimus inwas there anything truly terrible??
?

I suppose in relation to others experience, mine was pretty tame. Yet the way that a couple of elders manipulated me & in one case actually bullied me just to get their own way, was IMO disgusting. I was aware of others experiences that were fairly shocking. I suppose in my own personal case it was a build up of what I felt was unscriptural conduct repeated time after time, after time. It eventually just sickens you.

Just got this email
by Cindi_67 ini received an email from my sister in law.
she was relating an experience given in a talk at an assembly.
a young couple wanted to have children, but they couldn't conceive, so they decided to adopt a child.

What a vile story. I mean, FFS, the child had an escape route & it got buggered up by some new JW couple. Lucky white heather or what eh? Poor sucker. As an aside, a sister asked me recently whether fostering a child would help or hinder a JW in their spiritual goals. Her answer was that it would hinder. So to hell with saving the poor buggers & giving someone a better life. It might interfere with your ministry. Such blessed reasoning!
