I started out with cream and sugar, but the thought of putting anything in my coffee now makes me shudder.
For those who have never drank coffee without cream and sugar, just try it one time. Force yourself to drink a whole cup of black coffee. I bet you'll never go back. -

The lack of any sense of propriety is stunning. Talk about redistributing wealth...trickle-up economics? Nice.

but I just got a ESP with a pair of EMG's in it.
Nice! My new Carvin CT3 is scheduled for delivery Monday. It's a mahogany body, two humbucker setup so I'm hoping to get some nice ZZ style tones out of it.

New York City and LA are the two most populous areas of the U.S., so of course they're going to receive a bigger piece of the pie. I'd be interested to know how those numbers work out on a per capita basis, and how they compare to the per capita numbers of the major urban centers of red states.

I'd like to know how they did that first one. There's no obvious transition between the RC plane and the real plane. I think that it's the RC plane the whole way and somehow they digitally superimposed the guy getting out of the cockpit at the end. Good work though!

From Crisis of Conscience 4/e p. 23:
"The Society's vice president, Fred Franz, was acknowledged as the organization's principal Bible scholar. On a number of occasions I went to his office to inquire about points. To my surprise, he frequently directed me to Bible commentaries, saying, "Why don't you see what Adam Clarke says, or what Cooke says," or, if the subject primarily related to the Hebrew Scriptures, "what the Soncino commentaries say".
Our Bethel library contained shelf after shelf filled with such commentaries..."
The society does no scholarly work of their own. They rely on the commentaries published by the celebrated Christendom scholars, and throw in their odd mix of interpretation on a few key scriptures. Blather, rinse, repeat. Then a few years or decades later, pretend they never said it.
So who knows. Maybe some years down the road, it'll be, "why don't you see what the lovelylil commentaries have to say". LOL

Rats, all those videos you posted are no longer available. Holy Diver was a great album, I listened to it over and over back in the day. I'm not as familiar with the Sabbath and Rainbow stuff.
Dio playing at the South Park Elementary school dance is one of my favorite moments from that show :)
