around here, the moment you pronounce the word jehovah witness, you can be sure that you raised the blood pressure of the person listening.. i wonder if somewhere around the world, this isn't so ?

I was driving by my old Kingdumb Hall with a co-worker a few days ago and made the comment.."huh, is there many JWs around here?" and my co-worker didn't even know the KH existed. This is a small town (25,000) and most people don't have an opinoin on them or look at them like salesmen.

What are you doing Memorial Day weekend?

hopefully it will be a beautiful weekend.

we always get together with our entire family (kids and grandkids) for an all day picnic and fun and then watch the small town parades.

and then this weekend we will be playing "catch-up" with outdoor projects on the house that we couldn't get to because of the rain.

I'm meeting with the elders today, oh yay!!!!!!!!!!!

as many of you know i will be meeting with the elders from my hall today.

i had decided to come clean and just tell them that i don't believe in this anymore.

however tonight i talked to one of my friends who is still a witness and i realized that there are a lot of people who would be very hurt if i got dfed, so i have made the choice to go into that meeting today and lie my ass off.

i posted a little about this last night but i figured i would post the rest for you guys, this is the conversation that i had last night with the sister that studied with me.

she called me and wanted to know if i had plans for the memorial, i told her that i would not be going this year and the following is the conversation we had:.

jw: oh no, you can't miss the memorial, if you can't make it to the one in your hall why don't you cme to ours?.

Jw: 1975 was nothing. It was a mistake. ( This kinda freaked me out because her voice just changed, it took on a really hard tone, kinda hardto explain)
