reflections
by John Doe ini must admit my sesquipedalian posts have caused some to refer to an asinine constitution and forthwith associate my own identity in an equivalence relation to said characteristics.
be that as it may, i possess an innate identity that renders itself to no external justifications or imposing pronouncements.
however, i have recently come to revise my self-assessment, draining my incredibly rare and valuable time for no worthwhile purpose other than to appease the wanton, devouring desire that impersonates my heart from time to time.

If there was ONE thing you could ...
by talesin in... change about yourself, what would it be?.
i'm thinking along the lines of how you perceive/deal with other people, your attitudes, prejudices, learned behaviours, etc.
.... i'll get us started .... growing up jw, i was taught to expect perfection.

Film Scenes that got burnt onto your memory
by greendawn inwhat were some film scenes that pleased or horrified you so much that they stayed vivid in your memory for a long time?
the one i always recall is the scene where anthony hopkins (playing as hannibal lector) lobotomised ray liotta (paul krendler) cutting off pieces of his brain and giving them to him to eat.
he also took some of liotta's cooked brain in a plane and gave them to an unsuspecting passenger boy sitting next to him to eat.

If Witnesses had new light not to shun anymore....
by JH inif the witnesses received orders not to shun df'd ones anymore, would you want to talk to them, or would you shun them in return, just like they shunned you, just to show them how it felt like.

Rimmy hit it right on the nose. They can never take away shunning, it would remove a major part of their mind control program.
But if they did. I wouldn't shun them but I wouldn't talk to them either, they are some boring ass mother truckers.

Covering our computer tracks
by leftbelow ini am thinking that with all of the people (like myself) who are undercover so to speak may be some suggestions about how to keep our id safe from persons at home who may stumble accross the sites (like this one) which would upset our family's.
i only surf jwd at work and erase all cookies and history everyday.
i also on the rare occasion that i do surf at home erase all of the logs on my router.

make sure you are not auto logged in for email. such as msn and the use of msn messenger. if messenger is running all you would have to do is select check email and someone could go through all your emails. and maybe there is some jwd emails in there.
if you have admin powers on the puter you can password protect your account. remember to use caps on some of the letters and mix numbers into your password
such as Wtfwh0rU or something like that

Just talked with my mom, the lousy dubs studied with here when i was 5 years old. she quit studing when we moved shortly after that.
they contacted her again 9 years later (nice follow up fellas) she started studing which meant we did to. It stuck with me. for a little while.

Is there a God/supreme being/ or what?!
by DigitalFokus inok, so i was raised luthren, my dad was cathlioc and then i went dub for 5 years and since have been completely turned off religion.
the dub experience combined with world events and my personal ones have pretty much pushed all thoughts of a "almighty" out of my mind.
of course there are times that i think of religion or get into a "2am religion talk" and i wonder wtf is really going on.

42 is the answer to the meaning of life.
I am asking whether God exists or not. So I am looking for 1's and 0's I guess.
Is not being sold either way on the God subject all that bad? Or is that the norm?

Oscars - did your favorite win?
by pratt1 ini agreed with all of the winners at last night's oscar's except for the best actor award.. i would have given it to joquin phoenix.
i thought his performance as johnny cash was great.. i also thought that jon stewart did a great job.
i particularily liked the opening skits.
