You did what you thought was right at the time. There have been experiences on here where elders have gone back and apologised to people they disfellowshipped. Would you consider doing that?

It was on SBS2 last month. Seems unusual that they are showing it again so quickly (but I'm pleased because I missed it last time).
I think SBS1 is also available on analogue TV.

the love of animals

how do you feel about animals?.
never been one for pets although when a jw we had our fair share.. these days i just love looking out the window in the morning and seeing the wild rabbits eating our long grass (even though out here we are supposed do do out bit to eradicate the 'pest').

Aussie, it must be lovely looking at those lambs, but you need to get tough with the mice because there's a plague. I heard today that driving through the Hummocks on the Yorke Peninsula, you can't see the bitumen for the mice. Trapping them is more humane than bait but you need the proper traps.

I slept in my car and counted time while I was pioneering
by foolsparadise inme and another friend of mine would leave the field service group and go to a store parking lot and sleep counting our time.
good times.
we'd also go see rated r movies instead of going door to door, all the while counting time.

Aussie, you mean they let you go in the car by yourselves, just the two of you? In my old congregation they were so strict, not even an elderly courting couple (in their 70s) could be by themselves in a car without being questioned. Crazy.

by oompa inyou may know i was recently dfd...i am a 4th gen...my two sons of course were 5th gen. the oldest a rebel from birth so of course dfd at 17 and he is now 24. my younger son now 22 has been the golden boy for the dubs.
pioneered out of hs for 4 years...was a miniserve all that time...and then the holy grail...a year at bethel...i mean the perfect dub!.
well shocker of shocks...he was dfd three weeks ago!!!

oompa try to go into the PM now and it will probably open. The secret is, try once, it won't work. Go away into something else (like active topics), go back to your pm and it should open.
About your son, I hope he is OK. It would be a terrible shock to him. Hope you're OK too.
