Rache, sometimes we worry too much about what might happen.
I think a relationship with family is worth preserving. Do something to take your mind off - xmas will soon be over and some of the stress will go.
i've made mention in a couple of recent posts how some witnesses have come to my house.
i wasn't home but received a note.
in the development where i live, there are a couple of families that go to the local kh.

cooking the books with 3% increase??.
I'd like to get hold of some KMs from Australia to see if the August numbers are higher here. I do have a couple of KMs from 2002 and the August figures are not much higher than previous months. So maybe it's only the US that does that.
Maybe there is something unusual about August in the US? Holidays, nice weather?
my 3 min.
interview.
they had asked me ahead of time not to talk of the witness connection; didn't want to piss anyone off.. http://www.kvewtogo.com/news-video/?section=9&mgid=2020.
Bryan, that interview went very well! Congratulations.
a man five years older than me, good looking and had a car and some money!
i was barely 18.. it was a small wedding at my parents house.
christmas was the theme.
Sounds like you are better off without him, purps! It's easier being by yourself (well at least I think it is).

Does anybody know how the WTS calculates peak publishers
There is something very fishy about the peak numbers. Anyone with the Library CD can check this by looking at the monthly stats in the KM (you can only get the US numbers, of course).
These are the US publisher stats for 2006:
US Publisher stats for 2005:
There is something very wrong about this. If the peak numbers are fabricated, then the averages will also be distorted.
penny
nm = no more? never mind? no matter?
please give us an inkling.
i have just updated the graphs of jws in australia with the 2007 statistics.
there is a spike in australia similar to the increased growth this year globally.
there does not seem to be any real reason for this, so the question needs to be asked, "how legitimate the figures are this year?
That's a 3.87% increase in 12 years. Take heart, jwfacts!! Some of those kids must be leaving.
a bit long but please bear with me, this is about to get interesting.
last monday i get a phone call from this elderly lady i used to know in my old congregation.
she first asked if it was me, then went into full frontal attack, you know, one of these when you feel as if person on the other side would rip your eyes out through the wires if they could.. "blah, blah, blah .. you've been filling s.. (my ex) ears with your propaganda ... blah, blah".
zagor, I can almost see you smiling!
The Way sounds like another group to avoid though.

Sadly I've also heard about a couple of kids who grew up in JW families but their parents left when they were young teenagers. When the kids get into their 20's, the brainwashing from their childhood is still there and at least one has got baptized.
On a positive note, very few new people are coming in from the territory. To a complete outsider, the JWs must seem like a really weird bunch.
not antartica or some deserted island.
but what coutry or area has virtually no religion?
any ideas?.....now i will google.....oompa.
Aussies are pretty relaxed about religion. Although most claim to belong to a religion, they don't take it too seriously.
