They had to draw the mammoths becuase they claim the frozen mammoths occasionally recovered in Siberia died in the flood. Never mind the actual age of the mammoth finds or the evidence of what they were eating.
Yes, and another huge problem is that most of these specimens died in an upright position. One of the most famous specimens noted by the WTS was actually found to have both of it's hind legs broken. This does show that the animal probably fell into a crevice, and suffocated to death. A mammoth that drowned to death would not have frozen in a standing or sitting upright position.
