went to part of one with my wife I think it was last year.....more gloom and doom, we are in the last days of the last days, more service....blah, blah blah.....

The dubs will be all fired up for a few weeks after this wonderful 'spiritual food', but soon after back to the grind.....gag!

Nope, time is not right, I need to wait for another 'low' spell and then leave some of these sites open, maybe then she can 'discover some things' for herself.....she has a very pushy sister right now and she is not working, not taking classes, so she feels this sister is her 'best friend...', puke.

so a good friend of mine e-maild me today with this information.

aparently brother hurd says as of 2010 all the magazine printing and distribution will be moved to canada.

the only printing the us will do is the books.

Agreed daniel-p, I am not all that WTS savvy, but I feel they will never fully relinquish the position in Brooklyn, too much riding on the visibility of the huge WATCHTOWER sign across the east river from manhattan.....and an occasional spot in a movie or tv show to boot....

regardless of the benefits of leaving NY, I don't think they would take the risk of moving out of the US....at least for the time being the US still has the biggest bang for the buck.

Very good assessment Billy and daniel-p, not sure if laws have changed, but when I worked for a former company, we had some large motors manufactured by a plant in Canada and one issue we had was many of the highways were not open to truck traffic on weekend, so items we needed quickly were worked through the department of national defence to get waivers...may have changed though...

If nothing else the wts can move massive amounts of paper...

of course anyone not a jw is "worldly""...i think that mentally this is the hardest part to overcome if you are born in..... you should have seen the look on my wife's face recently when i told her that i feel that things are prob about as good as it gets.....no evil wicked system of things exists........ ya..... i know times are tough here in usa as far as employment.....but damm....this ain't like the great depression or wwi or ww2!!

My wife says the same thing about how terrible things are....especially now with states approving same sex marriage.....I tell her I would rather live now than any other time in history, especially in the past 2000 years and she looks at me like I am crazy.....

Did the WT ever show prejudice against black people?

it has come to my attention that there was a time when the wt magazine or some other wt.

publication actually printed an article(s) relating to black people being 'cursed' or unworthy of gods blessing.. .

if so, is there any reliable copies of this text?.
