I was thinking of DAing myself at a meeting during the annoucements. The only problem is I haven't been to a meeting in a 1 1/2 years and I would be shaking like a leaf or puking if I had to sit through a meeting till the announcements to get a 'good' seat.

Hey, that doesn't rule out the parking lot....although an elder did say everytime I did anything with my worldly husband i would be commiting a sin. I will D.A but I want to get disfellowshipped too...I want it all!!

So, basically I can do anything I want and not get disfellowshipped. Including holidays, flying a flag,voting,etc. I want to know what would get the elders mad enough to start a commitee. What Things Were You Deprived Of Because You Were A Jehovah's Witness?
by minimus ini think back at some of the simpler things we couldn't do or have because we were a witness.
i hardly know my father's (worldly) side of the family.
didn't know my grandfather, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins.

Hi and welcome to the board! - I was a witness that married a non-witness....One of the few however Since the cult makes life very hard on the witness (and non-witness) by shunning them or talking behind your back. Have the K.H. Elders 'marked' her yet?? If you do get married w/out becoming one of them No witness will be allowed at your wedding . And if her family does go they will risk punishment. You have to get her out!! or you have to get out of the relationship...Because your life will be He!! Trust me...it was He!! for my non-witness husband till I realized he was right. And thank GOD!!

In leaving any cult you need support. It takes a person years to undo the damage and hatered that you are taught by the WTBS. When you see the real "new light" you will thank God for this websight. Clearly, you have not had enough bad experiences as a JW yet. The people you call friends at the Kingdumb hall are not your friends but friends of the WTBS and will not stand behind you if you dare question one of their teachings. Sadlly, you will have to find this out for yourself.
