I just recently started back up at the garage sale scene. I love it. We just went a couple weeks ago to our city wide garage sale, and got the baby-to-be a bassinet (brand new with the pastic wrapping still on it, and the tags) and a new baby swing for 20 bucks. Definately a bargain. I found it is better to go to the rich neighborhoods, I always find the best deals there.

I drive a 2004 potiac grand am. I love it, it is peppy, comfy and decent on gas. It is a 4 door though, I really wanted to get an eclipse, but I wanted to be a good lil witness at the time, so 4 doors were the only option. Oh well, it is a good car anyway.

Who has Tattoos?

I got my first tat in june 2005, its a little cat on my left shoulder blade. I got my second tat in september 2005 a big colorful dragon going down my left shoulder blade. I did my first one just cause I was told my whole life not to and I saw that tat in a shop in 1997, and loved it then, so that was the first one. The second one was cause I LOVE dragons, they are so cool.

Should I make a stink about this or not?
by merfi ini've been working at the same hospital since 1991. a jw chick is hired this past january.
the hospital friends have been and are my support system as well as my 'team'.. a nurse friend played stupid last week and talked to the jw girl.
the jw asked her what religion she was.

I agree with Scully and Joe grundy and the others that posted the idea of writing a short and sweet note, then going straight to your supervisor and informing her of the convo. and requesting the note be put in her file. Cover your back. You never know what will come up next. Also, I got the impression from your story that your friend never told her your name, that the witness just assumed it was you...which in my book is even worse, to tell things about you when your name was really never brought up to begin with. And on the issue of DF'D or DA'D, don't mess with it. You know the truth...lol. It will just confuse everyone but the witness, and she won't believe you anyway. Just make sure you give her a good "bird flippin" off work property and time of course..

I remember when I first became single, I was told stories of how the financially secure would give money to help the single ones pay for food and shelter, but I never saw it. Did anyone else have a hard time meeting the financial demands?

Governing body members pay
by snarf indoes anyone know what the governing body members make a month?
do they make more money than the average bethelite because of greater responsibility, or do they just get the benefits of first class travel when they go to different areas of the world?

I always wondered, just cause it seemed like the few I met while in New York a few years back (including their wives) dressed extremely nice with lots of jewelry while most of the bethelites seemed pretty simple in their attire and hairstyles.

Did you know any Dr.Jekell and Mr.Hyde Jehovah Witnesses?
by JH in.
i was one of those.
i would go the the hall all dressed up like a good jw, listening to jw music in my car and would try to make a good comment at the hall, and when the meeting was over, i would get out of the hall as fast as possible, go home, almost rip off my shirt and suit and put my jeans and t shirt on and listen to rock music and watch some extreme sport on tv....and become worldly again as fast as possible.

I was never baptised , so I don't know if I count. After meetings I would go home and read books on hauntings ( I was always interested in the afterlife). I was pressured by my teacher after 2 years of studying to quit smoking, so I lied and said I did, and hid it for the last year of studying...lol. I also let my daughter participate in school holiday and birthday parties.

What sounds do you associate with what?
by ButtLight inwhen i lived in fl, every time i heard a helicopter, i thought of criminals.
thats because they were always flying around looking for someone who got away, or escaped from prison.
for some reason, they seemed to always be hovering over my house!

When I hear the tornado siren go off in my town I know it is either the start of the lunch hour or the end of the lunch hour, or 5 in the afternoon. If it goes off any other time it is because there is a fire somewhere in town or outside town. This really worries me cause what if there really ever was a tornado, no one would know cause they use it soo much, kinda bugs me.
