I don't remember naming names. Only that individual and I know what it was about and really it had no bearing on me or my opinion of that person. Next time I will do it in a private p.m. though..
I simply asked about the topic because afterall it is the internet and liars seem to be everywhere else so why not here?
Hmmmmm. 3rd world countries get a big stack of sticks covered with leaves and folding chairs and rich countries get glass walls, a.c., sound systems-state of the art of course, bathrooms, nice cushy chairs...but yet they are all brothers and sisters, equal in Jehovahs eyes !!!!!!!!! Glad I am not part of that family anymore! hehe.

Thank you all for the kind words. I didn't ask the question to humiliate anyone or "get back" at anyone. I understand the reason people keep their identities hidden, what I don't get is the fact that if you really are here to get help and meet new people, then why lie about "you". WHat if you actually chat with soemone you genuinly are interested in having a friendship with...then what? Carry on the lies or tell the truth?

Great post!!! It is entertaining and also recaps a few of the hotter topics for those of us that don't seem to be able to get around here much anymore.
I think it is a big scam. No one will ever really know if this couple kept the baby or not. There are many places you can get assistance to help with the costs of having a child. I think if you care about the baby inside you, then the issue of having a house would not even be an expectation. I think anyone who gives money to this person has been totally fooled. Afterall there isn't even proof of a pregnancy.

It started that way....I think, but what would lieing have to do with getting names to "tell" on someone? Whatever the reason they lied, they had no reason to, I would have not thought any differently about them than I did.

I feel the same, don't take things tooo seriously here. It still sucks though when you take time out to chat with someone and find out they are a big fat liar.
i have been df'd for around 4 years and have not got my back up about the org until this year.
only this last year have i been looking around for answers and started realising there is a foundation for my reasons of not going back.
at first i was happy that it wasn't because i was making excuses for not going back but bad things were happening outside of the people i know across the org.. what pissed me off the most (and the reason i found this site) is because i got the blame for my brother in-law having sex in my house with someone other than his wife (my sister) because i am not witness and thus have low standards.. i'll try to keep this short: i have 2 sisters, one brother and 2 parents (fancy that) both remarried however.
Man, I wish for once they would act like adults and put the blame where it lies(no pun intended). An adult, drunk or not, still makes his own choices wether to cheat on his wife or not.

I am glad you have never been lied to. I have met many wonderful people here. Only one person has lied to me here on this forum.
