Where were you when the realization hit, that the WTS was not in the truth?

i was listening to a testimonial by valerie acuff and she said that she was sitting in an assembly, looking around at the crowd and thinking to herself, "this is your family, these are your people.".

she said at that moment she heard a voice inside say, "these are not your people, this is not your family, get up and leave now, and don't ever go back.

" so she took her two children at that very moment and left, and she never went back.

I really did not want to belive it at all.Then I started to tell others at work

how a cult it was and full of lies , so I thought to my self if I tell others will then I better be reading more , and get my act togeher. So here I am.

Teaching our brains to think differently

let me start by saying this is simply a theory.

a theory is just an idea that hasn't been proven right or wrong.

until tests have been done to get proof it is just an idea.. what we know:jws are systematically taught to think within the narrow constructs of wts teachings.

I find objects will trigger WT sayings , like today we were

driving around , and I notice the tall trees. Then trees of life come to mind.

And I did not want to even think about the WT. Its so intwin in our lives.

A theariophist, said for every [5] yrs you are in its [1] to deprogram you.

Need Therapy from the Watchtower?

until recently i used to be just a lurker.

but since i began posting, i am finding it very theraputic!

seems getting out my feelings, and sharing with others my experiences, and the things i personally have discovered, is helping me alot!

I know how you feel, as a newbie I totaly hear your words, but

its the frist thing I think of , is reading you guys everyday , lol just got the courage to

be part of the posts.Leart more in 2 months now than in 20yrs with them.

if it were not for all of the very hard work that simon does behind the scenes to keep this forum up, much of the other work others are doing could never have happened.. this site serves as an excellent central location for us all to communicate and exchange thoughts and ideas about how to expose the evil ways of the wts.. simon, thank you very much!
