The main choice for my response was because I have felt that Danny has been suffering for quite sometime from paranoia, but just didn't come out and say it. He needs help and not encouragement for his behavior.
Actually, I voiced this same sentiment to my husband approximately two months ago. I didn't say anything because I have a relatively low post count compare to those who were encouraging his every action, so I felt I lacked standing.

I have watched several of Mr. Cosby's recent appearances. All he is saying is that blacks should take responsiblity for what they CAN change and work to change it. He neither minimizes nor maximizes environment, genetics or any other variable.
That is good advice for all races, genders, etc. If someone finds that stance offensive, perhaps he or she needs to examine his or her motivations.

or at least i never saw one.. however, i have taken the following steps: filed for unemployment benefits, contacted an attorney, and will be sending in documentation to the eeoc.
the reason being: this employer has already told three (3) lies about my termination:.
we are coming to the conclusion that there is a possibility that someone in a high position from my previous job knows the CFO of this company and spoke ill of me and got me fired. (My previous job was not happy that I left and went elsewhere. And they still have not found a replacement for my position). WE cannot at this time prove this

The WTBTS has been greatly ridiculed by e-watchman for not paying attention to the minor prophets. I wonder if this might be an 'answer' to his charge? It really is just another 'fluff' book. I read mine in about two days of receiving it at the convention.

shouldn't it be the GB and its FDS.
His title is correct. The Watchtowers have been filled with this phrase as of late. The FDS (the domestics) is all annointed. The GB (the slave in charge of the domestics) is just the 12 (or so) men at Bethel. While JWs have stated that all annointed members are part of the channel, I suspect they are getting ready to limit the channel to just the GB, using this expression as their justification.

well, over two weeks after my father nearly died thanks to this bone-head cult, he and mom finally got a visit from one of the elders.
i had left work early the other day as my mom had asked me to pick a few things up for them.
so i pull up in their driveway and notice a few people in a car and figured it was the witlesses and sure enough it was.
When my father had his stroke early last year, I think he got one visit from the PO when he was in the hospital for over a month. The guy in the room with him was a Catholic and his priest was by 3 - 4 times a week to see him. This upset dad greatly----the idea that a member of "Babylon the Great" was getting more care and concern from his demonized priest, than what he was getting from God's Chosen Ones at the Kingdumb Hell.

Hey, any time I can do a genuine kindness instead of banging on doors, I'm game. FWIW, last month I only talked to ONE person door-to-door and had a pretty good anti-Witness, anti-Religion, pro-humanity discussion. And I don't place litterature anymore. It's too precious you know.
I'm in 100 percent agreement Open Mind. You will never hear me complaining about it while out in 'service'. How warped does ones spiritual compass need to be to claim that encouraging depressed souls is NOT an act of worship/service?
