  Anxiety symptoms

  ever since i stopped my study i have gotten completely depressed, unable to sleep, i really depended on my study group to keep me sane and give me purpose but now my bi-polar symptoms have come back with a vengeance.

  i thought about going to another church because ruminuating on a creator did help me sleep at night and now i have not slept for four days.

  i never realized how much i was becoming dependent on the religious structure.

  Back to the topic though, i agree with Bee that you're missing the company or group situation, the feeling of belonging and worth or importance. It's only natural my friend

  Be patient with yourself and time will show you the way to go and the path to take. Becoming involved with another group of some kind would seem like a good idea, even if it's just a 'bi-polar therapy' group.

  Maybe try a class to learn something you've always wanted to know how to do.

  Mostly, we humans are gregarious animals, we like to be near others and share our lives, it's who we are.

  when i got off for lunch today i decided to go to the walmart deli and get something to eat.

  it is a huge store, groceries, a bakery, mc donalds, a bank , eye center, beauty shop, a great deli, and a huge garden center.

  i had taken back a 80 gig hard drive dvd recorder ( i couldn't figure out how to hook up <smile> and had received 238.00. i picked up a couple of things in the store then went to the deli.

  he still goes to the kh and is a ms. so he wanted to know why i have not gone to meetings.

  Your reasonings are clear and lucid and truthful. Your friend is an automaton, a marionette in the control of the org' as many of us used to be.

  " I'll have to do some research " is simply a flaccid excuse to divert the subject...and also probably a lie because the WTS is to be believed above ALL other deities. It's sad, but as i said, we were there once.

  Maybe your friend will listen in future.

  To me Armageddon and all other acts of mass genocidal destruction, mean that the killing of innocents will ALWAYS occur. Children and babies don't kow their minds. A religion that teaches such doctrines, or a god that perpetrates such acts is patently evil and i will not countenance either.

  Why WHITBY is so important to us all!

  the phrase is 'the truth is out there' and when we stumble across it by accident, it can't help but make a person wonder what else they never knew, and how pieces of the jigsaw gradually begin to fit together as we search for the 'truths of history'.. i love whitby.

  whitby is a small town in the north yorkshire moors.

  it sits on the coast with the magnificent ruins of whitby abbey dominating the sky line.

  Whitby's a nice place, if a bit Blackpoolified. The 'old town' is nicest and of course it's history is worth a nosey.

  Personally i prefer Robin Hoods Bay just upt road, also very touristy but gorgeous all the same. Holidayed there twice....memories.

  Brilliant post Luke!

  You're a very eloquent man. You understand why you are where you are and the root causes of why you feel as you feel. This is the lion's share of the battle, where you have been rescued from your spiritual Omaha and Gold. You weren't defeated as many have been. You are not dead in the water as many are, many of our friends and dear ones.

  For some, the legacy of a terrible war is recurring thoughts, feelings, fears, visions etc. This may be you and it may be many of us and for some the healing is never total. Some scars of battle will stay for the rest of our lives but they are of use to us and we can learn from them, build better minds from them.

  You are not alone in your plight!

  happiness is... .

  being told by your professor that the only open section of the class you need to take to finish your degree is on tues. and thurs nights 7pm to 9pm, and being able to give a resounding , "yes!

  Do we need to experience the bad to know the good??

  inspired by a few posts from the 'suffering' thread, i pose the above question.. is it really necessary to experience or even know of evil deeds in order to appreciate good, benevolence, peace.. certain peoples and indigenous tribes have lived in peace and probably still do with little, if any, disturbance and malevolence within their communities.

  they don't need evil to appreciate good, surely.. one current headline story over here in britain is of a 7yr old girl murdered, shot in the back by a drug dealer because she'd seen his face.

  he's just got 40yrs in jail.
