Yes, a couple of times.
Once in Portugal (couldn't understand a bloody word!)
Once in Pwhelli (is that how ya spell it?) in North Wales. Trouble was that because it's a real tourist area, the hall was packed with chuffin' JWs on holiday and you could tell the indigenous witnesses were really pissed off with the tourists. They ignored us flat.

it was extremely helpful that the society warned you on the calendars which night you had to skip... we had those boards that they passed out so you had a good writing surface, often covered with witness grafiti like, jesus or jehovah or something biblical.
remember the little grading sheet on the back; excellent, very good, good -- was there a poor?

After all this time believing in the bible and jesus and god and angels and demons.....and blokes that become as weak as a mouse when you cut their hair...and organised religions that take the PISS, after all that...i've had just about as much as i can take.
So i believe in ME, because it's about bloody time i did.
Nobody else is gonna put bread on the table and noboby else is gonna make me happy...but me.

Its no coincidence that religion prospers in third world countries and with the under educated.

The common thread here is that people got hooked in when they were weak and very vulnerable (though not all) and were then indoctrinated at a low point in their lives, when the mind was already like an untidy bedroom.
The JWs brought order and purpose, albeit misguided.
I was smoking dope and doing all the stuff that goes with it at the time i got involved too.

so there i am yesterday, driving through the lovely english countryside enjoying the rolling green slopes of the hills.
now in my part of the world (lancashire) there's lots and lots of sheep!!
they look lovely mooching around in the grass and moorland totally oblivious to what's going on around them.. until they stand in the road in the path of your car.......licking the tarmac!!.
