(Not to be a downer... but I cannot help thinking that had his family been Malawian JWs back in the '70s... he may never have been born.)

Where does NEW LIGHT come from?
by sacolton inthe watchtower has said over and over that they are not inspired (even though their earlier publications claimed that they were modern-day prophets), so where exactly does "new light" come from?
if they are not inspired by god, why should anyone listen to them?.

Martin resident cleans up with thousands in prizes on 'The Price is Right'

JENSEN BEACH — For Aron Morlan, Tuesday’s television episode of “The Price is Right” was unlike any other.
It was a chance to hear himself called to the stage for a chance to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes on the show he’s watched since he was about 4 years old.
“I’ve always wanted to hear that,” said the excited 27-year-old in his Jensen Beach home, which he shares with his father. “I finally got to.”
Morlan didn’t try to hide his glee as he and his father, Jim, watched the painting contractor’s appearance on national television.
Two minutes before the show started, Morlan bounced at the entrance to the living room in anticipation of seeing himself on TV. He was in Los Angeles, where the show shoots, with three friends to attend a convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses three months ago.
He decided to go to a “The Price is Right” taping as well.
“There we are, right there. Aaah! Aaah!” the contract painter yelled loudly, pointing to a side of the flat-screen television in his home as the camera panned over the audience and briefly showed his seated friends.
Morlan guessed a little under the approximate value of two diamond-faced wristwatches and was awarded them as a prize for estimating the price closely without estimating too high. The watches arrived at his home Tuesday.
For winning the show’s Secret X game, in which he had to choose the correct price of products from two choices, Morlan was given a $4,598 bedroom set with mattress, dressers and other items. He also won a $1,000 gift certificate to buy.com and a Nintendo DS copy of The Price is Right game.
He earned the chance to spin the Showcase Showdown wheel, but failed to progress to the showdown.
Morlan, who works with his father at Morlan Painting, said the bedroom set would be useful when he moves into a new home after he gets married. His fiancee, watching the show at her bank job in Boca Raton, apparently valued the set, too.
“She didn’t care about seeing me,” Morlan said, jokingly. “She just wanted to see the bedroom set.” -
