when it comes to weather, would you rather have a wind chill below zero, or a heat index over 100?
it's the hottest week of the summer here.
i have to confess, i handle the cold much better than the heat.
well geez, i dont know. I want the heat when I am sick of the cold (Illinois, starts to warm in April) BUTT when its HOT (which will last until October), I want the cold.
Thats that nice thing about being an ex-JW (aka worldly person) I can be on the fence with no guilt YAY!

i think a balding man has 2 options- 1. hair club for men 2. shave it.. balding men- not hot; bald- hot; bald with goatee- extremely hot!.

I am currently married to a sexy bald guy, i tend to think shaved heads are sexy...a nice shaped head is a plus of course...
oh and men with hair are good too, but if you are balding, I say SHAVE IT.

i watch this new jerry springer show called baggage and basically everyone has some "baggage" but the contestants have an opportunity to try to sell themselves over the other person and the person with the most personal baggage has to leave.. what would make someone want to pick you as a better date or mate than another?

when i was younger (from the moment i could reason and remember), i didn't like going to the meetings, having a weekly bible study or going out on the ministry.
in fact, i didn't like to do any "theocratic" stuff.. i would of course, get beaten up by my loving zealous pioneer mother due to my rebellious nature.. funny thing was, that even from the age of 5, i knew something was wrong with this religion (cult).
at the age of 16, i decided that i simply didn't believe in any of it, but i didn't leave as my mother threatened to make me homeless if i stopped going to the meetings.
Yep, very relellious. I left home at 18 - parents and the "the troof". Fast forward to age 36 (now), just reunited with some ex-JW friends recently, had not seen them since I left. I thought it was funny they said "Nikki, you were a rockstar in the troof, all the parents wanted us to be like you"

i think crystal did much better than lee as far as performances in the finale.
also think she is much more talented.
lee is a great singer and will only get better the more comfortable he gets going big time.
I too thought it would be crystal and lee. I wanted lee to win even tho he did sing not so good tues, and crystal did much better. But, there is something about lee that is so cool, i like how humble he is, and how thankful, i think his voice is more commerical.
Crytal will have an audience too, but maybe from a comtemporary standpoint, shes a young girl with an old soul...i luv her too.
This was year was not the best year, but from a personality standpoint, lee and crystal were very likable, never did anything "too much", seemed to be good peeps...

i normally dont watch american idol but im glad i did to watch crystal bowersox.
since i first saw her perform in the beginning auditions i knew she would come in close or win.
i loved her final performance this evening.
Big Lee fan here, BUT last night Crystal owned the evening except for Black Velvet, never liked that song. You know, Lee's song choices were all not my favorite songs, thats a big factor as to why I wasnt crazy about his performances.
Well, my 2 cents anyway.
