  Do you honestly think the Witness religion will end?

  i know that people here make comments about the religion having problems and growth not being anything other then children born into the faith and third world countries.

  i even see them make comments about, "how much longer can this go on?

  " yet honestly, do you really think the witness religion will end in our life time?

  In way yes, the Jehovah's Witness as we know them today can only go on for about another 20-30 years tops. Then it will be painfully obvious then END is no where near and not coming. The doctrines will have to change drastically because the anointed (tm) will be gone and regular folkes will be in charge. No doubt JW's will become another main stream religion, but a very small one.

  I just want thank Rockhound for another great post as well. You have an amazing family.

  My point here is.. he knows we left the JWS when he was 2 as I didn't want my kids raised in that cult life. He thanks me all the time for not raising him as a JW and now he is chasing his dreams like he couldn't if we were still part of the org..

  Wow, imagine what his life could have turned out like if he had this religion forced on him? Working a dead end job with no security and no education slaving to please a bunch of power hungry old men! Instead you son has security, fame, real friends and a great life a head of him! Way to go!

  All you apostate bastard with your 'higher education' think your so smart? You think you can have true friends outside the orginazation? Well I use to be a number one union man, until I walked out on the picket line and all my friends walked away from me, then the police came and took me away and it wasn't funny! They all left me, but now I found God and I know he'll never leave me! (thank you imaginary friend!) You'll never have any true friends now that you've left the truth, all your so call apostate friends are destroying your souls! They will walk away from you just like my friends walked away from me!   well it happened, oh my goodnes, it only took like 3 hours going around in circles!!!

  well its a very long story people, but i have to thankyou for the help yesterday, because i totally wasnt myself in the meeting and i actually questioned them and challenged them, and one of the elders is like wow you've changed, is this someone else talking?and i was like no, my questions are genuine, from me and hes like what are you studying at uni, theology?and im like no, sport and recreation!!!

  !and at first i took my sister and i wanted her to come in but they wouldnt let her, then once i started questioning them, they could only say the same few things like the faithfull and discreet slaves are the directed ones and i have to believe them and then basicaly tried to make it that i was diassociating myself and i was like, no, i dont want to leave as long as i could research from other sources and they kinda ignored that and pretended like it was fine after telling me it wasnt, but disfellowshipping me because i said i couldnt promise them i wouldnt do a couple of things they frown upon again and that i didnt know if i was repentant untill i knew that they were wrong in my heart.
