Does Anyone Really Believe They Can Knock Out The Watchtower???
by minimus ini think it will be around for years to come.
i do think that we can put the word out about this cult and help people get out or not join them in the first place.
but we'll never obliterate them, in my opinion.

I have been asked to testify before the Texas State Legislature
by hambeak inyesterday i received a call from state rep. leslie hodge.
a while back i called her office and got an appointment.
i asked her to introduce legislation that would require sellers of used cars (not private parties) to disclose the cars problems and let the buyer make an informed decision whether to buy it or not.

Yesterday I received a call from State Rep. Leslie Hodge. A while back I called her office and got an appointment. I asked her to introduce legislation that would require sellers of used cars (not private parties) to disclose the cars problems and let the buyer make an informed decision whether to buy it or not. As the law is now you buy a used car and you sign the contract and it blows up before you leave the lot You still owe the money for the balance. My beef is with the tote the note dealerships that sell cars that are worn out and very high mileage. I have a number of customers that have fallen victim to this con and are in dire financial straits with a car that doesn't run.
What prompted this post is now the Governors office has called and they have expressed interest and so have a couple TV reporters so now I guess I'll end up on TV and probably a few hit lists from a lot of these charlatons.
Can anyone do a makeover for me? LOL

When do you think the civil war in the U.S.A. will break out ?
by 5go ini am begining to think it is more when, than if now.
i think if it isn't over the removal of the bush.
then those 30% of people that never wanted him to leave will try to either force thier neo-conservative agenda (facist borderline nazi) or suceed the union (again it's mainly the same people in those idiot southern states that want him to stay)(by the way yes i'm in one of them and yes they are idiots and so am i).

I don't believe a civil war will break out as a lot of the nation has spoken and a lot of incumbents are out. The Dems are in control of both houses. As for him being a sovreign? surley you jest our constitution in 1776 made sure of that as well as the Declaration of Independence. Also an amenment to the constitution forbids the president to serve more than two terms. That was passed after Roosevelt was elected to 4 terms in office.

Thanks for the memories as Bob Hope would say and yes I do remember the wonderful 50's and the 60's I lived 30 miles north of San Francisco in the 60's and was there in 67 during the summer of love. AW those coke bottles in CA we got 5cents for the big ones and 3 cents for the small ones. If you were diligent you might get a whole dollar from scrounging for those bottles and you could go to the movies have candy. soda, and popcorn and still come home with change.
