Cloudy and nice here in Dallas supposed to hit 80 today and then WA storm hits here thursday with a hard freeze upper 20's and cold friday and then back to 70's for the weekend. I wish it would snow

No school again today
by Mulan infor the second day in a row, the schools are closed because of the snow.
very strange for november.. it is collllddddd today and the roads are solid ice after the bit of a thaw yesterday.
another big snowstorm hit last evening.

Need some decorating advice
by hambeak ini have been in my townhouse for 3 1/2 years now and still no pictures on the wall.
i have a 10 x 14 living room small , beige walls and carpets living room furniture is new green sofa and loveseat wooden tables i can't seem to find the painting i would like over the sofa.
my living room and dining room adjoin and get little to no sunlight.

Not much money so something tasteful. Any Ideas?

when i posted on the current gay thread in a way that i thought would stimulate thinking and lighten up the seriosness of the thread and have a laugh, he and others put me down publically labelling me.
so i find it difficult now to continue posting knowing that someone has influenced others into thinking that i'm not worthy of being here because my phrasing and spelling is bad and that i'm apparently a "hyporite".

Steve don't leave it was a discussion some agree some don't I certainly wasn't offended by anything you said and as for grammer I am a terrible typist and if I don't proofread my stuff it sounds really dumb and a lot looks misspelled. So hang in there chum and keep the comments coming. It would be boring if everybody agreed with everything. So keep your opinions and share them. You learn too. For example on a thread about OJ for a long long time I truley thought he was innocent and framed, boy did I get a lashing and then Mary pointed out some facts I was unaware of so I learned and changed my opinion. That is what discussion is all about. So hang in there and lets all learn from each other. FunkyD is a funny guy and a unique sense of humor.

by fullofdoubtnow inas most of you know, i've been in bed with flu for a few days, and though i'm a bit better today, i'm still feeling very weak, but i'm just about up to an hours' posting.
i've missed you all so much, and want to thank you for all the good wishes you sent me for a speedy recovery.
i honestly think i've been shown more love from people on this board who i've never met than many jws that i knew for over 20 years.

Sorry, I need to vent for a moment...
by Abandoned innormally, i don't mind where i'm at in my life.
i'm forty, no kids, low-paying job, live in a trailer court, etc (and trust me there's more to the etc, then i've already mentioned), but today i had a hard time.. one of my best friends from high school was a big dope head (no offense to the dope heads out there).
he showed up nearly every day to our first period art class smelling of weed and was generally so whacked out of his mind that he got horrible grades.. he finally graduated - barely - and made it to college.
