my 17 year old nephew is visiting from florida and to my surprise, last night in conversation, he revealed that for the last 2 years, he has come to realize that the watchtower society " is a bunch of bs" and that he can see how people are brainwashed in the organization.. interestingly, he has come to realize this, without knowing any of the facts and scandals that we all know about - he simply can see things don't add up.
naturally our conversation progressed to discuss the inconsistencies in the org which he had no idea about, and the flood gates were opened.... he now wants to read the ray franz's books, and get as much information as possible.. he told me that the young people in the hall are beginning to speak to each other about " the issues", while keeping these conversations away from the parent's ears.
sadly, my sister still expects and somewhat forces the kid to attend the meetings, but i told him that he should be wise and patient in the process of stepping away from the cult, to avoid too much collateral damage.. i often feared that the kid would be pressured into being baptized in the cult, but he seems determined to make sure that will never happen.
This is very encouraging!
Ask my wife and girlfriends
Whats ur point ??
i don't think the every day rank-and-file jw gets one of these.

This particular one is kinda tricky. "Blood doping" can be accomplished by sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber, training at high altitudes, etc. It can also be accomplished artificially. I think we will consider these :old" arguments quaint once people start gaining enhancements from genetic modifications.
i had related the first part of my story in part one.
thanks for all the responses and sorry for the wait for part two!
part two obviously won't make as much sense if part one hasn't been read.. here is my continuing story:.
Really enjoying your tale. Looking forward to part 3.
For her I'm sure the ear thing represents her desire to break out of the restrictive cult household. I apologize if I was taken the wrong way I'm not against tattoos and piercings, my wife has tats and has had piercings before, it can be hot lol. I just really hate gages
I'd say if you get the phone call, "Dad can you pick me up?" then yes.
It may have just been a idle threat though.
IF they kick her out that's pretty shitty of them for sure. But I can sympathize with the "kick-out" reaction, because I just told my wife that I'd make my kids live in a tent in the back yard until said ear gages were removed.
