"Unevenly Yolked"

right now we are having the "unevenly yolk" conseveration.
can anyone tell me what percentage of jw's are married to non jw?

104 year old woman gets MARRIED
by simplesally inkuala lumpur, malaysia - a 33-year-old man in northern malaysia has married a 104-year-old woman, saying mutual respect and friendship had turned to love, a news report said tuesday.. it was muhamad noor che musa's first marriage and his wife's 21st, according to the star newspaper which cited a report in the malay-language harian metro tabloid.. muhamad, an ex-army serviceman said he found peace and a sense of belonging after meeting wook kundor, whom he said he initially sympathized with because she was childless, old and alone, the report said.. "i am not after her money, as she is poor," muhamad reportedly said.
"before meeting wook, i never stayed in one place for long.".
he said he hoped to help his new bride to master roman script while she taught him islamic religious knowledge.. the report did not say if any of wook's previous 20 husbands are still alive.. malaysian muslim men are allowed by their religion to take up to four wives at a time, but reports of women who marry more than once are rare.

Diet, exercise, post inury -- any suggestions?
by Madame Quixote inthe week before i broke my foot, i resolved to join weight watchers and start exercising.
now, i'm still planning to do it, but have a great excuse not to bother with either one right now.
and in order to deal with anything, i have to go up and down my staircase to get outside!

My doctor told me to start exercising again, ie, powerwalking, weights, maybe jogging! My problem is getting starting, i used to do all these things but with my increasing back problems i'm having difficulty getting motiveated!! Paula

It's My Turn
by Life Is Grand inanother post from a newbie(who has been lurking around here for a couple of years now).. my story is nothing exciting really.
i grew up pretty much from the age of 3 or 4 in the jw religion.
my parents both became witnesses at that time, then after a couple of years, my mother "saw the light", and stopped going, but my father dragged my sister and i along with him for many years to come.

it is in my nature to expect everyone to act in the best interests of everyone else.
i never expect that others will intentionally cause harm to another in a willfull and malisious act.

Hi Serendipity, good to hear from you again, as you can see i'm still fighting the good fight against myself!! I know i need some serious help with this problem, no one has ever had a hold on me like this, not even my abusive ex-husband!! Just when i think i have the courage, by the time i speak to him i "chicken out"! It seems so simple to just say "goodby", so why is it so hard to do?? Please don't pelt me for going off topic!! Thanks for your imput! I think i need to swap aliases with you cause i am plmkrzy to allow this to continue another minute!! The licks i took from my abusive ex-husband was easier then the emotional stress Michael cause me!!

I hope i'm not going off the topic here, but my boyfriend is a JW and i am a Catholic even tho i do not go to my own church! We have been in this relationship for the past seven years and they don't come more unevenly yolked then us,heeheehee!! We don't argue about each other's faith because we never intend to marry or even live together! I am in love with him but he is not in love with anyone but himself!! We both have faults but the biggest one i have a problem dealing with is that he is a hyprocrite!
He only wants to obey the rules of his church that he likes!! I myself don't go to my own church because i am not worthy! I am currently working on putting an end to the relationship, wish me luck, i'm going to need all i can get!!
