  When I was 18 and left home and that lifestyle I found the truth_god I hated that S--- .I believe my parental units allowed THEM in the house 6 years prior to that.I was drug through it.Got beat by it.Abused by it.Got sick of it.Glad no pervs tried to bang my booty.If they had it would have been on CNN.Something like "Is that a plane flying into that Jehover building.....?" or " Whys that guy building a concentration camp for jws only?" Skip the gas throw there asses in the oven!!....sorry had to vent....Hated it then and hate it now

  i used to post in a forum much like this years ago.thought i would jump in this one.i have visited here several times and browsed your posts.i have enjoyed reading your posts and will be in here to read more and sometimes comment.looks like everyones said the usual jw stuff and my stories would be just more of what you all have been through or know of.it appears our histories are the same.now its time to make our own history.glad to be a part of this family in this forum.i really enjoy the great sense of humor many of you have.i have been laughing ever since i left the borg society.i tend to be satirical and i like to make people laugh.sometimes i can be damn right cold and mean but mostly to those that force their religious beliefs on others whether its crashing planes into buildings or 'placing ' magazines.they are all the same to me.simply- if it hurts it is wrong.thanks for allowing me this membership.hello to all my new brothers and sisters and i bet real love.

  Parents still around and I sometimes call,maybe twice a year.They never call unless a family member dies.Sis has been having mental problems.She seems to just drift off like shes in another world.If I talk to dad no matter what I am talking about it seems he mentions the book of Timothy like thats supposed to make sense.You know the typical jw response to most any conversational subject is turned into some reference in the bible.Maybe I should say "Well I read in Teen Booty Mag..blah blah blah...Just kidding.Moms still fairly easy to talk to.Wish I could say GET OUT of that @#@$%$##$%$#@ mess and enjoy whats left of your life.Not sure how my brothers feel.I never bring it up but I darn say pretty much what I want around them and see no negative reaction...makes me wonder....

  Heard em all including floating books,possessed second hand dolls,satanic silver ware,and all the usual haunting stories that appeared on the twilight zone and the outer limits.Seen my mom burn a doll in the yard.One could only imagine what the neighbors thought.

  i'm not an anarchist...but i refuse to trade religious masters for political ones... but some enjoy exercises in futility...just look at the die hard dubbies.. it seems that the borg mentality tends to produce more dem's (or they just talk louder?

  I prefer a monarchy as long as I am King.Then I would install a true democracy where the people actually have a voice and say so over what passes and what does not.As king I will enforce the people made laws.Pizza will be cheaper.Stupid tv commercials banned.Oh and free dsl or cable.

  Hello, I'm new here

  i left the jw's in 1990 and officially left or at least decided never to return again in 1993. i announced that i'd rather die in armageddon than live with these people.

  they don't want to speak to me much anymore.. but i'm concerned because i have a 4 yr old child and i don't want to attend any church.

  nothing against those who do.. but should i go for my child even though i will stare into outerspace until its over or is this a worse example than not attending at all?.

  I said the same thing when I was younger.If that was the truth I would rather die than spend eternity with those a--holes.

  I am new here too.Used to post at a similiar sites years ago.Thought I should get back in one of these to help out the escapees.

  Church is not my first choice.It could even make you feel worse based on my feelings.In fact I feel like an alien visiting a strange place when I go to a church or anything like it.It seems primitive and silly to me.Its like I wonder what the heck is wrong with these people.Then again a church here in the American south is a bit like a step back in time.

  Parents can raise a child without a church . I raised three and I gave them freedom of choice in religious matters. None of them have turned into the anti-christ.

  You are free now .Enjoy it.

  My parental units have seen my kids maybe 4 times in 20 years.Thats good for me.It used to bother me.This may seem morbid but I thought that my parents might even kill my kids just so they could bring them back in there freaky little fantasy paradise.I had even heard a rumor of such a thing happening without the paradise part of course.Good parents are all they need.One of the first things that bugged me when I was a kid in that org. was the coldness and how the JWs could say all the non jws will die including there children will DIE at the end.When I ask my Mom WHY? She said kids tend to be like their parents .WELL I AM NOT.I love children.

  You are a good mother I am sure.Remember to teach your child that evil does not allways have a scary face.

  What does it feel like to be a JW?

  Well while I was writing this post I had to use the restroom and there was no paper in there.I had to stop go in the hall and get a roll.Next I could not find the end to unroll it so I tore it and started my own beginning.Thats what it feels like.
