  over the past month, i've had this huge desire to explore 'forbidden' topics.

  i'm wondering if anyone else has gone through this phase.

  i've downloaded and explored the qu'ran, vedic scripture, buddhist teachings, etc... i just can't get enough right now.

  Oh yea .Me too.Power of Myth is a great start.Early European mythology is very interesting to me.Esp. the hanged god thing.

  here is an example of how brainwashed witnesses are even if the facts are in front of their faces.. .

  re: read this if you have the guts.. body:how dare you speak like that to my sister.

  plus 99% of the things you read on the internet about the witnesses is false and i should know that because i am one.

  I dont bother to argue with them.I say what I think and move on.They taught me how to be a verbally abusive prick.I turn what they say back on them.They love running their mouths but mines faster and louder.I dont discuss. I give ultimatums and walk.I have several ways of saying -bite me.Screw the bible discussions.

  I dont know of one.I think it died right after Jesus.There is the Roman approved form of Christianity and of course the Protestant breakaways.Several others that splinter from these.Choose your own path.Jesus did.Just dont tick off any Jews or Romans along the way.They will flame you.I dont waste my time with them.I can read and I dont need to be lead.

  At what age did you start to notice that you were getting/looking "Old"?

  we all get older every day, that's not my question, but at what age did you notice that you weren't able to do as much as when you were younger, or at what age did you start to see a different person in the mirror..and it didn't please you.

  When 18 year olds looked like children when I was about 35.I noticed a high school game and was trying to figure out why the little people were using the field.They were high schoolers not middle schoolers.

  Visiting my parents...

  this post is inspired by another that was about jws and apostates working together.. in june my family and i will be visiting my parents, who happen to be jws.

  i was baptised as a christian last year, my parents aren't very happy about it and for the most part seemed to be tolerent of it, i guess because i was never baptised as a jw.

  recently we have had some minor run-ins about my new found faith and i know it might pop up again as a topic of discussion because i wear a cross.

  hey folks, listen with me being 17.... mum gave the doctor some documents about me not taking blood when i was a jw.

  will these of expired?

  with me living with my mum can i get them removed/cancelled?

  See if you can contact the doctor and tell them the situation in detail.My doctors are in a group.They are Muslim,Jewish,Hindu,etc.One of them ask me why was my jaw slightly crooked.I told them I had Christian parents.You would not believe how hard they laughed.Me too of course.

  My doctor when I was a kid was a very serious German gentlemen.I ask him not to let my parents kill me.He ask "DO WHAT?".I told him.He said no problem.

  Giving a Talk on JW's

  i have been asked to give a talk on the jw's, about 30-45 mins long.. but there is so much i would like to say that it could end up being either very long or boring or both.

  if you had to give a talk about jw's to a group of people who really had no idea about jw beliefs and culture.

  what would you included ?.

  How closely does your online personality match the REAL you?

  i think i come across as a bit agressive online but in reality i know i'm extremely chilled - lazy some might say.

  i'm greek you see and we do so love to argue the toss - loudly and insistently - and then have a game of tavli (backgammon) afterwards.

  thing is most of my family are still jw's and as i can't do it with them you guys end up getting both barrels!!.

  I am a pain in the ass but I try to make people laugh even when I am serious.Apt to say anything anywhere anytime to anybody.I go for shock value.Apt to get shot in the face someday but I will bleed all over em.
