  Moved away from home and went straight for Atlanta.I love the city and the people still get along so well here.Was drawn to the city because I remember when I was little and we were visiting the city my dad saw some of the leaders of the civil rights movement and told me who they were.I walked up and Andrew Young smiled and winked at me and others smiled at me.It felt good when years later I could say that I met them not really knowing how famous they would be.From what I have seen in documentaries I must have been the only nice white person they had met up to that time.Yep I love my city.Now live east of it and closer to work.

  Polish your skin and other advertizing language

  it used to be ok to wash your skin.

  then they got into all the younger, more glowing, cleansing words.

  now we have to "polish" our skin.

  Drug advertisements get to me.One shows this lovely girl.Shes got herpes.She is having the time of her life.Even a radio station here said that if you catch herpes you too can have fun just like that babe in the ad.

  Studying with JWs

  i have just started studying with jws, (on a regular basis) about a month ago, and i really enjoy it.

  - i am wondering what will happen in the next couple of months, knowing i will continue going to the kingdom hall and studying.

  will i go door to door sometime?

  when i was 13, i remember an 18 year old "brother" telling me that he and his friends were part of some pact called the "armageddon club".

  the object of this club/pact was to stay single(unmarried) until armaggedon.

  the last person to stay single would win something like a sum of money or bragging rights i guess.
