  I'd probably do a little more than call the sheriff, I figure two can play that game. but if you don't want to go to that level, maybe a few peel off stickers of WT bulls**t on their windshields should do the trick. (you need to go to the hall during the meeting)

  i regulary look at my digital alarm clock and it says "19:14" and i think "hmm, used to be the end of the 'gentile times'" than i take a look at my number of posts and i have already passed 1914, 1918, 1925. when i look at car plates i get reminded of year numbers having been hammered into my brain.

  well, this is not really serious, but i get always reminded of my jw past.

  i have to add that chronology was something important to me and carl olof jonsson's book "the gentile times reconsidered" was an important one for me.

  hmmm, the only number that freaks me out is 666. The other numbers make me grin (607, 1914, 1975, etc..)

  Strange things you can find on the net (JW related)

  well i was on amazon website and did a word search under song titles and artists names.

  i chose the words "watchtower" and "jehovah's witness" and you wouldnt believe all of the stuff that came up.

  i will post my findings in several increments, so keep checking this thread for updates.

  Righto. Plus this concept of there being modern-day "replacements" for anointed ones who don't "hold fast" is ridiculous. Supposedly the 144,000 were sealed in 1935. Since then, how many professing to be anointed have come forth? I submit thousands. Who were these thousands replacing? Those "anointed" JWs who went bad after 1935? That many fell away? How much longer can they keep spouting this stuff?

  This is why they are false prophets, instead of admitting they don't know, they push ahead and spew forth more nonsense. That's the problem with being overly dogmatic, eventually. you get your ass handed to you.

  What is so egregious about this is that they demand a high level of acceptance and conformity even though they know how highly speculative this is. The enormity this unethical conduct is shocking, it leave you shaking your head in disbelief.

  Oh oh, alot of ex-jw's listen to the devil's music... I think you need to visit your local kingdom hall and flush out your brains with watchtowers... not that there's anything wrong with that.

  hmmm, two of my previous jw girlfriends did cleaning work... one of them went back to school and left the organization before I did. (I was the doubting one and she was the one defending the org, go figure)

  lol, reminds me when I was a little boy! I didn't do the gross stuff but I was a little mischievous... >:P I did torture the family cat, occasionally putting a sock on her head or putting her in a box and watch her try to squeeze out... she still liked me anyway.
