All Those Creepy Files

have you ever thought of all those creepy files that the elders keep on wrongdoing?

how strange to have your sins written down and kept in a file somewhere.

do they ever dispose of them?

Having been through quite a few JC I know alot of my stuff is in a file. My Dad hired an attorney to demand back the request for reinstatement letters I wrote. We don't know if it will work or not. He says it really iffy.

What Is Your Life's Work?

what is it that you do in life that makes you feel like you are accomplishing something important?

something that makes sense to you and gives you a sense of personal satisfaction.

for me it has always been my work of helping others as a nurse.

Right now, my lifes work is my baby girl. And boy is she work!!! She is 3 and has the energy of 4 kids all wrapped into one. I am due in November with another girl. Maybe she will be my mellow one.

Did you,or anyone in your Hall come to Meeting Drunk?Anything funny happen?

we used to have this guy that came to bookstudy drunk and he would mumble all through it, and fall asleep and wake up yelling an answer.

i never went to meeting drunk, but i certainly drank a few to get me through sometimes, took the edge off the continual damnation spewing from the stage.

another "sister" used put kahlua in her coffee cup in service.

i am serious about this, i new met a man twice who moved to holland probably in the week of the 22nd june and in total i gave him enough money for about 10 days of shelter.

now the thing is tomorrow at 5:30 pm he will probably show up at the kingdom hall where i also go to in the high hopes of finding a helpfull jehovahs witness.

now i didnt invite him to my own home because my parents are no religious people or as remotely altruistic as i am.

I agree, they are not going to give him any kind of charity or shelter. They will however try to start a study with him, and encourage him to come to the hall again. He would be an ideal target for them.

i was born in 1969 at northern side of japan and started bible study with my brother when i was 10. later my mother joined and baptized when i was high school student.

The Weekend Thread

sooo its wet and raining, the folks are down touring bethel and the british musuem and i am at home, alone and listening to my music.. what are you lot doing?

My husband is off to work all weekend and my daughter and I just woke up and had waffles, watching a little SpongeBob. I am staying home for the next three days to re-organize, clean and generally prepare for the new baby ( November). Pretty lazy weekend.
