I just had this funny memory pop up. As JW, we were not allowed to cuss, right?? Well, I had this friend whose Mom substituted "piss" for every cuss word. She thought it was the least harmful of all of them so she was always "piss this" and "piss that". I got in to the habit of just using the first letter of each word...like "oh F" etc. Now, my non JW friends think it is the funniest thing I say that. Does anyone else have substitutes you used to vent, instead of cuss words???

since he is a master tech with 33 years experience, and ford and toyota factory trained maybe you might have some questions about your car and i could give you some good advice to save you some money.. i usually charge $80.00 for a diagnostic at my shop, so get on board and save some money sorry for the brits but i think your cars are somewhat different as far as emission controls are but mechanically the same so let the questions begin..

Witnesses at the Fair

just before the gate, there were two large and prominent display stands.
one said "ask about our free bible study" and other stuff and the other had colorful tracts pasted all over.

low and behold, down the aisle comes a dub.
as soon as she set eyes on me, she backed out of the aisles as fast as she could, as if i was throwing poop at her.

LHG- I have thought(wondered) the same thing. If they needed help, say they were stranded on the freeway, and you recognized their car, would they accept help. How would they treat you when they saw you again?
