I think this whole idea comes from the idea that god 'created' food. It doesn't necissarily mean your individual food on your table.

Saying 'grace' at meal times
by lifelong humanist inlong before i dad myself in 2003, i used to feel really bad offering up 'grace' prior to eating a meal with family and/or friends.
it felt totally weird.
i never quite understood the concept.

The next dub that says "the light's getting brighter" to me...
by undercover in...is going to get his punched out.
yes, friends, this is another thread about the latest generation teaching.
so, if you're sick to death of it, leave now, save yourselves.... anyhoo... as the wts has now unleashed on the world the true explanation of generation and what it means for those of us in this time of the end, dubs who accept without question this teaching are 'oohing' and 'ahhing' as the new explanation 'makes so much sense now'.

I once tried to reason with my parents about the "light getting" brighter" and got nowhere.
Here's my reasoning with them:
Suppose you woke up in the early part of the morning and it is still quite dark in the house. You go through the house and don't turn on any lights for fear of waking someone up. You get to the kitchen and see something that appears to be a yellow color on the counter. As you go through the kitchen to the light switch you KNOW there are bananas there because you had bought them just yesterday. When you turn on the light you see that there are indeed bananas there, you put them there. But you aren't going to turn on the light and see apples or oranges.
I just don't understand how it is possible for the R&F to justify complete turnarounds in beliefs. Yet they still do it. *sigh*

wha? by what you said I assume, I know, I know,... that his works are in the old songbook? If this is true it is very interesting. I was in a congregation just 4 hours from beth-hell and we were told that there was a new songbook because they felt they needed to get rid of songs that might infect the congregations because they were written by........... apostates!
