  can't find the original post, so here it is again: .

  "we, the sensible people of the united states, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great- grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt-ridden, delusional and other liberal bed-wetters.

  we hold these truths to be self-evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the bill of rights and are so dim that they require a bill of no rights.

  Uuuuggghhh, grow up will you?

  I thought a lot of you on this board were smarter than this.

  Look at history. Look at where we came from. Look at the ones fighting for YOUR rights. Why do we have to fight about who or what is right? We all know that no one can agree upon a "human" ruler...right? Or are we here for a different reason?

  Aren't we here becasue we don't agree that man will rule? If that is the case, I am not saying it is,....if it is the case, where do we get relief without cinicism (sp)?

  Obituary: Otis Oliver Reagan of Perry, GA

  my uncle oliver passed this past weekend.

  he was my step-dad's grandfather's brother.

  (does that make him my great or great-great uncle?).

  Mike, he would be your GG Uncle. Take it from me. I have had to figure out my own families relationships with each other. For example: My 2nd cousins' father was his own fathers son. Take a moment and think on that. (It's an old joke)

  But seriously,...Otis Oliver Reagan of Perry, GA, may you NOW be able to rest in peace. You sound like you were a wonderful man. Mike, I am sorry for your loss and I thank you for letting us know about him and how you feel. My heart goes out to you and yours.

  How Many Do YOU Know That Were Molested?

  the watchtower society has had much deserved bad publicity for their policies on child molestation.

  some suggest that this occurrence is no different than other religions.

  actually, i have known about 10 persons that have been sexually molested by a relative.

  I know of 4, all of which are in my immediate family. Three females and one male.

  Two of the females were abused (or touched) by their grandfathers. Different men in different generations in different (maternal/paternal) sides of the family.

  The male was abused by at least one "brother" and propositioned (approached?) by another brother (a pioneer).

  The other female was abused by a Judge in a small town.

  It is so sad to see the pain and suffering not to mention the things it does to ones mind forever when a person is abused as a child. It is sad (sadder?) when an organization set up to help people are also the same organization that causes so much pain by a lack of action.

  i asked them about the child molestation issue, & they just gave me the same old rap about "we're not discouraged from going to the police, blah, blah blah.

  i said, fine, for the last 6mo.

  besides i did'nt ask about that, i asked why mandatory reporters are not reporting.

  Been Banned!!!

  I tried to take this to a personal level. I tried doing this in email. I tried doing this via telephone. None of this worked. How I found out that this came to a head was when "mommy" called me. Yes, that's right...Matthew calls "mommy" every time he cannot handle me.

  "Your wife" yeah right!!! Your significant other who tells you when to go to the bathroom. You have no idea how to live life effectively except when she is there to tell you when, where and how to do it. Your "wife" is a beatiful woman but you are a piece of s***, that she will tire of by the time she is of age.

  Your are lying to all of these people and you should be ashamed of yourself!!!

  No reason at all. I spent a week trying to get onto the site and when I contacted them they let me in for a few hours.

  Apparently if you disagree with them, you are toast...

  Self confidence

  anyone who has read my history of posts knows that one of my struggles is trying to find and build self confidence.. what is it about being a jw that can tear down someone's self confidence?.

  i'm a smart guy.

  i have a 4.0 gpa.

  Joel,

  I have read your post's for almost 2 years now. I feel your pain. Let me speak without you taking offense ok?

  First off I see that you want to blame anything and everything for your pain. Hear me out please? For some time I thought that you had good reason for blaming the Witlesses for your pain since I was also dealing with my own pain. I could understand...I even did a thumbs up for you occasionally. Your pain was my pain...for a while.

  I am not saying that because I have overcome my pain that "it is about damned time" you got over yours. What I am saying is that these boards serve a purpose. One of the purposes is to help us to overcome pain. I am begging that you listen to others on this board that might have good advise for you.

  We love you Joel and we find it hard to watch you wallow in pain.

  Lost my email address book

  i had to run the restore on my computer yesterday, and while i saved my address book, it didn't really save.

  i lost all of my email addresses!!!!!!!!

  this is not good!!.
