  We have re-deduced from 1 Kings 18 that the first terrorist nuclear bomb will go off on 2006Iyyar28 (Friday May 26th or Saturday May 27th, 2006 - we expect it during the night, between Sunset May 26th and Sunrise May 27th). We are presently unable to deduce where it will be precisely (but there is a reason in divine law, as we understand it, why this first bomb cannot be in a 'Christian' country). We only have one scriptural witness to the date. One scriptural interpretation is not enough to be really sure, but it if we have this date right then our Sign of Jonah chronology and symbolism are confirmed. Furthermore the UN declaration of Peace and Security and the UNPBC, the image of the UN Beast, taking over as head of the UN and the 10 kings of Revelation 17 appearing all on 2006Iyyar29, the day after 2006Iyyar28, itself constitutes a second witness that a grave emergency must happen on 2006Iyyar28.

  The objective of the member nations of the OSCE is to guarantee the security of Europe as well as to foster the implementation of human rights, disarmament, democratic freedoms and the management of regional conflict.

  If the WTS is meddleing in the the affairs of the world? What has happened to
  "Waiting on Jehovah"? As they always tell their members when conflict arises. "Pray to Jehovah for guidence" Have they lost their faith in Jehovah and now put faith in the UN for help?

  we all pretty well understand that the wts tells jws that bing on the internet is dangerous to their spiritual standing because people on the net are controlled by satan

  but... maybe there is a second reason.we also know that the wts believes if people read the wt literature they will come to the wrong conclusions.

  people require someone to sit with them and read every paragraph of a wt book to make sure they understand the book in the right way.we know the website for the wts is pretty sanitized so people don't run off too quicklywe know there is no place on the wts' website for discussion.

  jw, it tis true the Watchtower has conditioned it's members to demonize anything outside of themself. I didn't realize that fact until I was out and all good little dubs told me that "It is not true that the Governing Body would approve of belonging to the NGO/DPI at the UN." "Whoever told you that is from Satan"

  yu see jw, Every truth from my mouth becomes a word from a demon. Even show them proof.

  Why is that jw? Why can't you accept the truth about the lie?

  this week at the book study, at all congregations in the u.s., a letter was read saying if you go to a house or property with a "no trespassing" sign, you must not enter, or knock on the door.

  you have to leave immediately.

  a sign saying "no solicitors" is too ambiguous, and they are to use their own judgment, and don't have to knock.

  Reification of the "cult" idea

  comments like well, the witnesses display all the characteristics of a cult as noted by [insert anti-cult website here].

  has it occurred to anyone that the idea of a cult is a human invention, indeed a very peculiar modern human construct in comparison with the rest of social history?

  Cults are everywhere....doesn't have to be religious in nature either....Large and small families can form their own belief system or be a cult of sorts in the way they go about there lives. One never really knows their neighbors. Do they?

  one of my secrets is that when i was 14 years old (and before becoming a jw) i had sex with a girl my age and also her sister who was one year older than me.

  fortunately their mother didn't find out though i think she was suspecting that something fishy was going on.

  Something new: Watching a tiny bird make a nest with it's mate just outside my livingroom window. They make loud music for such small birds...I have to find out what kind of bird it is and get back to you.

  Just curious since I read the book though I have yet to see the movie. To what "facts" are you referring to?

  Wellllll let me seeeeeeeee, there are so many FACTS.....I will start with the Catholic church, the Louvre Museum that holds the Mona Lisa painting by De Vinci.... Oops somebody already said that so I will add one more, an arm of the Roman Catholic Church called Opus Dei.
