  Quality of newer membership

  on a previous post mamacita29 pointed up the low quality of new jw converts.. is the quality falling even more as the society use lower than low meeting, talks, broadcasts etc.. when i was active initially the organisation and standards seemed totally different today.

  i have seen hard working intelligent elders fall by death or exhaustion.

  the younger generation that came along never really grasped responsibility hence shortage of good elders, never mind the watered down to almost nothing quality of meetings.

  Why the dislike on the photos of Pastor Russell and Professor Irwin Cory? I think new boy made a 'spot on' observation. As a side note, Professor Cory was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1914!

  i've been noticing lots of these pins on lapels.

  i could almost understand the jwdotorg pin because the new mantra is to go to the website.

  but why on earth are they sporting a building?

  having seen a few of these tv productions and some youtube clips of their assembly parts, how can jehovah's witnesses really take these silly little men seriously?.

  you take one look at them; their overweight, fat little bodies.

  their entirely shabby, overhanging suits.

  Thanks for the correction, George One Time. So much for me trusting a GOOGLE search for 'Images of Soviet Style Housing'! (Lesson learned!)The image is of Amsterdam Bijlmermeer. I stand corrected and if it were possible I would remove my post.

  Honest Questions About Child Abuse

  i have two honest questions for everyone here.

  i understand that most here want retribution from the courts against watchtower for child abuse allegations.

  but let us take away the instances where someone was accused of child abuse and then later put back into a position of authority, such as an elder or an ms. let us just take the cases where a regular publisher or even an appointed person, with no previous accusation of child abuse has come up against that person.

  Richard Oliver, as you continue to pursue your 'degree' as an 'armchair lawyer', I am sure that you would like to widen out in your understanding of what direction the American legal field is heading in regards to the 'clergy's fiduciary duty' towards it's parishioners. scratchme 1010 has pointed you in the right direction.   Apparently, a Caleb and Sophia pin is sanctioned as ok to wear.........especially if you are married to a member of the Governing Body!
