My impressions of the cart witnessing
by Sour Grapes ini have watched tons of youtube videos of our exjdub friends approaching and talking to the jdub manikins at their carts as they give a great witness to the world by sipping their hot lattes, updating their social media, chit chatting to each other, and the most important thing of getting their time in, counting their hours.. when the jw's see someone approach with a camera they do several things, they will turn their backs on the person, or look at the person with a frown and act like the person isn't even there.
the witlesses refuse to answer simple, clear, and precise questions.
when i was an elder i loved to get into discussions and debates with trinitarians, priest, clergymen and those who were born again.

Man, I don't think that I could stand the rigors and extreme effort that it takes to be a 'cart witness.' Why back in my Pioneering days things were a lot easier! While out in service, I've only had a cocked shotgun pushed into my chest, an axe held to my head and a vicious dog corner me on a householders porch while the person mocked me instead of calling off the dog. I could never stand the pressure of pointing people to JW.Borg while standing safely next to my trusty, holy spirit protected cart.

How in the flying fu@k does she know? Did he tell her directly? Jehovah's Witnesses in the majority are delusional, self-satisfied and just plain living in a fantasy world! A few years ago I received a shepherding call from 2 Elders. They told me that the reason they were there was to tell me 'that the Governing Body' loves me. It is amazing to me how often Jehovah's Witnesses talk about love and how rarely they practice it.

My heart goes out to you Terry for what you have had to endure. Policies like this make 'Jehovah's (so called) Organization' guilty of cruelty and inhumanity on so many levels. The MONSTERS on the Governing Body are their usual self aggrandizing bastards with their current video entitled: "A Successful Program of Alternative Civilian Service in Taiwan." Jehovah's Witnesses is a religion built on the bones and spiritual corpses of many naive and trusting souls who believed the pontifications, speculations, prophecies and rantings of a few men 'taking the lead' that claimed to speak for God and then were cast aside when expedient for those leaders.

Actually, that is not a ridiculous thing to say at all. It is a legitimate medical concern. Any person with a score of 20 or higher on an Anti Endomysial Antibody/Tissue Transglutaminase Ab blood test must refrain from consuming gluten in any form. It may be that the Elders could inquire of any known partakers if gluten intolerance/celiac disease/sensitivity were an issue for them.

The older I get the more angry I become!
by Sour Grapes ini did some self-reflection today trying to determine why, with every passing day, i become angrier against the watchtower company.
i am in my 70's and my health is failing.
at first, i thought it was because "worldly" people couldn't care less about jdubs and the little world they live in even though the witlesses think that the earth revolves around them and their desert god who was originally worshipped by the cainites.

This is a very important topic for me. I am 62 years old and have gone through therapy about 12 years ago. No longer do I have issues with major depression or all consuming anxiety. But I still have residual anger! Maybe our deep seated issues don't come to the fore all at once? Perhaps we can only take so much psychologically and so our minds only let us work on what we are able to at any given moment. At any rate Sour Grapes, I feel your pain and am sorry for all your wasted years as a Witness. I am working on my anger daily by practicing principles of mindfulness that I learned in therapy.
Each morning I read a segment of this book to refresh myself on how to apply mindfulness in dealing with my anger. My hope is that I no longer injure myself or those close to me through inappropriate expression of anger. Best wishes to you. As Jon Kabat Zinn is fond of saying: 'Remember, in any given moment, there is more right with you than wrong with you.'

New data movement this is what I see as their goals .
by Crazyguy inafter listening to the leaked videos this is what i think it’s all about.
first i don’t believe they will want to much personal information ie bank accounts etc do to potential legal problems down the road.
what i think is their goal is once all publishers are in the data base they then have no need for written information about any issue concerning a publisher and how issues are handled by elders and the branch etc... this information now is in their own data base and can be deleted or manipulated by them at any time.

I have written about this on other threads concerning Watchtower collapse. Make no mistake about it. Watchtower is creating their own database on EVERY publisher and will begin to use big data and predictive analytics to determine when and how to reorganize congregations, sell kingdom halls and squeeze congregations for more contributions. Big Brother in Warwick is becoming the Big Brother that George Orwell warned about.
