JW Mother Dying.... Not a Big Deal.... But it Should Be

i’ve been shunned for many years so her passing doesn’t really constitute a loss for me.

her and her husband made it clear many years ago they didn’t want a homo in their family.

My mother died over 19 years ago. She was a very, very difficult person and never once in my life did she say to me: "I love you." She never expressed this to any of my sisters or brother either. On her deathbed, I lay across her body crying and sobbing for what seemed like an eternity. I cried not for her death but for the lost family life and all the opportunities for love, affection and family unity that she threw away. I cried for all the pain she caused us. I cried not for my mother but because my siblings and I really never had a 'mother'. Go ahead and cry Zoos. Cry not for the mother that you did have but for the mother you should have had.

Sorry for your loss.

i grew up with steve pare who is now an elder in southern california.

he sent me this note after i talked to him on the phone and sent him my book.. "the super-abundant blessings i have received in the advancing the earthly organization of jehovah have been fantastic !!!".

"jehovah is not behind in creating the paradise & his mighty of 9,000,000 will work with 20-50 billion to be resurrected & in 1,000 years the paradise will be done on time!!

As old friends I think that our policy with each other is that we 'can agree to disagree.' If it is alright with you, I would appreciate that moving forward you not bring up these issues any more in our conversations and I will try not to 'reconvert' you to the Jehovah's Witness way of life. No matter what color a man's skin is, slavery is heinous and evil. However, in my opinion it would be just as heinous and evil to single out one race of individuals over and above any other race and reward them financially for wrongs done to their unknown ancestors. This is modern America where everyone has a chance to better themselves and make something of their lives. How long should innocent people be held financially responsible for the 'sins' of their forefathers?

As usual, Jehovah's Witnesses take a scripture out of context and assign a meaning to it. If you read the full context, it would or could seem to indicate that Jehovah is doing the forgetting and not calling to mind his peoples past transgressions. Verses 16 and 17 should be read together:

"16. So that anyone who seeks a blessing for himself in the earth, Will be blessed by the God of truth, And anyone who swears an oath in the earth Will swear by the God of truth. For the former distresses will be forgotten; They will be concealed from my (Jehovah's) eyes, 17. For look! I am creating a new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be called to mind, Nor will they come up into the heart." Interestingly enough, verse 16 is cross referenced to Isaiah 12:1 which states: "In that day you will certainly say: "I thank you, O Jehovah, For although you were angry with me, Your anger gradually subsided, and you comforted me."

Here is a group of celebrities that influence millions for the good or the bad depending on their personal preference. As for me, I have no use for the lot of them and would not base my personal decisions on anything they say. I am not interested in any political or product endorsement that so called celebrities care to pontificate on and am not influenced one way or another.

my pimi wife listens to a lot of the meetings on the phone with the speaker on.

when i am watching tv i hear the meetings in the background.

i just cringe with how a witless can't give a comment without having said jehovah at least two times.
