I found this article online when I was researching information on another post and I am only posting it as an historical item of interest. It is not intended to slam the Judge.
I apologize if this has been posted and discussed before.

Jeffro.........If you choose to ignore the evidence and not do your own research, that is your business. Don't belittle others on this post that are making the effort. When you actually take the time to read all the articles online, form your own reasoned out conclusion and create an intelligent rebuttal, only then will I give any of your postings credence.

Jeffro...............you are in over your head. Just accept that and move on. I have examined lots of newspapers from that era online. J.F. Rutherford , the lawyer was some sort of local celebrity. The 'preponderance of evidence' suggests (notice that I didn't say proves) that more likely than not, ILoveTTATT2 is probably making a correct assumption.
i'm taking a class, and we are learning about jws.
my teacher is talking about a "big brown book" that is used for any questions or scriptures quoted by the person who jws are talking to.
he used it in the context that if they don't know the answer off the top of their head, they look for the verse in this book.. what is the name of this book?.
Good catch slimboyfat! That particular version is reddish maroon, but the older versions from 1930 until this version were shit brindle brown. You might be on to something.

Yes Darkspilver...........sounds reasonable that this is the book he was talking about. Sort of dark maroon-brownish. Printed in 1973 I believe.

"There is a J. (John) F. Rutherford who was from Missouri and was later in Arkansas who was president of the Bluff City Lumber Company." - Jeffro
Since you have made this claim, please provide documentation that John F. Rutherford was from Missouri. That would help to confirm your assertion and get the discussion moving in the right direction.

i was at the meeting last night and the dreadful video about caleb and sparlock was forced upon the audience.
honestly, i had forgotten how bad it was.
the mother's manipulative over-reaction and caleb's acceptance that his toy was evil.
SPARLOCK the Warrior Wizard. Evil magical figure inspired by Satan and his demons to mislead little witness children. Not to be tolerated under any circumstances.
MICKEY MOUSE the SORCERER'S APPRENTICE. Benign magical figure inspired by nice old Walt Disney to bring joy and happiness to little children including those of Jehovah's Witnesses. Viewed with tolerance and acceptance.
Pay close attention little Witness children. In your religion, it is not whether something is right or wrong but how it is viewed by your leaders and other influential persons in the religion. Learn to play the game, keep your mouth shut and you will get along fine!
news bulletin: fessler versus watchtower – opening statements and motions in jehovah’s witness child abuse trial – day 1. .
posted on february 12, 2017. city hall, philadelphia, pennsylvania.
on a cold philadelphia morning the 7th of february, 2017, stephanie fessler walked into the court of common pleas of pennsylvania, first judicial district, civil trial division.
Whatever happened to the old days when the Watchtower Society would fight any case that involved Jehovah's name and sovereignty 'tooth and nail' right up to the Supreme Court? The motto of Judge Rutherford and Hayden Covington was: "Press the battle to the gate!" Boy have times changed and something is just not right with Watchtower settling out of court on these abuse cases. I am not saying that their being willing to settle is an admission of guilt, but for some reason they seem reluctant to pursue exoneration of their so-called 'good name' as the 'only true religion'; Jehovah's clean organization.
